Why did it go from a scene of a father watching the tape of his brother r*ping his daughter to the team learning how to make carbonara at rossi’s house😭😭
JJ makes the team wear sunscreen when they are on cases in sunny areas. Rossi outright refuses (“blah blah I’m Italiano blah blah blah”) and Hotch attempts to get out of it every time but JJ just levels him with a Mom Glare™️ and if that doesn’t work she says “would you let Jack run around in this sun without sunscreen??” And he puts it on. Every time.
This jj x reid arc is pissing me off so fucking bad like why ruin a great love between her and Will and her and Reid’s amazing friendship for a bs story arc no one asked for
i wish they let JJ be angrier about baugate bc the concept of it is hideous and the fact it was brushed off the way it was is just ridiculous to me sorry
a prime example of this was JJ confronting emily about it while they were both high (a sentence exchange and that was that) - i get that JJ highly respects emily and has never undermined her / is always on her side BUT she had every right to be angry with her and the writers just didn’t bother
they could have delved into a jj and emily falling out / team falling apart (jemily angst) arc like yes it would be painful to watch but also very interesting especially when you consider JJ has neverrrr turned her back on emily before and how this could genuinely tear the team apart bc their relationship is such a strong backbone holding the BAU together… but no let’s talk more about voit and rossi’s delusions or whatever
Out for a sunday afternoon walk and my playlist has triggered a Jemily moment in my brain. Emily and JJ driving a remote road on a rare couples getaway between BAU cases, windows down, Friday im in love by The Cure playing on the car stereo, sunshine, wind in their hair, both with sunglasses on, JJ dorkily singing along, she deliberately sings to Emily in a dorky way everytime she sings the "its friday im in love" part and Emily's got eyes on the road mostly but glances at JJ singing every so often, smiling like she's won the lottery.
