I can understand not liking the casting of Wes Bennett because you will just be thinking of Cam Cameron from TSITP but not liking David Iacono as Wes because he’s not white or he’s “not attractive” is just mean and racist. First of all, he fits all of Wes’ physical features that are mentioned in the book and second of all, LYNN PAINTER , THE FREAKING AUTHOR OF THE BOOK, chose the casting and she chose them for a reason because both of these actors , Beatrice and David, are freaking awesome! Theres a difference with not liking the casting and full on being a bully towards the actors.

CANCELLING ANNE WITH AN E WAS ONE OF THE STUPIDEST IDEAS EVER.

Why? Oh well, it was a super popular book series, super popular movie series and then there’s a show adaptation (that could’ve have 7 or 8 seasons) and guess what? It’s super popular! The actors and actresses got so much recognition and fame for their roles and to this FREAKING day, Anne With An E remains one of the most popular shows on Netflix, for a show that ended in 2019. You go onto the Anne With An E instagram profile and you refresh the comments? You will find at least 10 fresh comments writing “Renew Anne With An E!” Or “Bring Back Anne With An E!” So why, oh why? ANSWER ME NETFLIX.

This is why I’ll always say, canceling Anne With An E was one of the stupidest ideas ever.

Flame me all you want for this but this is my opinion so just know:

Some people can’t enjoy PLATONIC relationships without bringing romance into it. Whether it’s fictional or in the real world. There are so many forms of love, not just THAT type of love. Like, that girl’s best friend who’s a guy might be her future husband OR they don’t think about each other like that at ALL and that’s okay. OR (before I even say this know that I am NOT homophobic, never will be) it’s a same gender friendship and people will start saying “doomed yaoi” or “doomed yuri ” when they’re clearly just best friends and not in a relationship, it’s even worse when they’re both in relationships and are trying to encourage cheating or any of that crap (CHEATING SUCKS!)

We all will find our soulmates one day, platonic and romantic.

But with that, what I’m trying to say is that people nowadays can’t appreciate close and platonic relationships without bringing romance into it.

Please pray for my country South Africa. There are Anti-Immigration marches going to occur tomorrow in my city, and hope it does not escalate to riots and unnecessary death. The frustration of us natives needs to be heard by our government, but not at the expense of our youths future, safety, and health; and even the expense of innocent immigrants, legal and illegal, who are afraid of being deported or harmed during this time.

There's a nation wide anti-immigrant protest happening tomorrow (June 30th) in South Africa and I'm so incredibly heartbroken and disgusted. The xenophobia in South Africa keeps escalating. People are being murdered, assaulted and tortured. All because our stupid fucking government is corrupt and blame all the issues they created and still perpetuate on illegal immigrants.

Despite government telling protesters they must follow the law and not be violent or kill people or be destructive...we'll have to see. Angry mobs don't tend to be rational or follow the rules.
