A storm is coming, the clearing unknown

My heart wasn't ready

...but I sat that to the side

All the times I spent protecting you

...the truth cutting like a knife

Although I tried my best

And did what I thought was right

It all came crushing down when you told me things the other night.

As the pain increased and the grief intensified. I realized in that moment, I had already died.

This discomfort is loud today.

Loud visually, verbally, vibrating atrociouslly into the drum thumping away at my brain, demanding attention. Beating for change.

Why does it feel as if the echoes are so loud? and the silence is so gritty? Why does it sound as if it's so blurry?

This all seems so cringy, so nonchalant, so big yet so minuscule...

When does the world stop spinning?

The tilt feels deafening. The gravity feels weightless. The atmosphere is thinning. yet the world keeps spinning.
