I went into episode 10 of ‘Tale Of The Nine Tailed 1938′, ready to make some cute gifs and funny clips but this episode was so emotionally taxing... I’m too stunned to do anything.

Another episode, another cute moment between our fave fox brothers.

I had a feeling Lee Yeon was holding onto that question. No matter how much of a stickler to the rules he is, I knew the thought of just taking Rang with him had to have crossed his mind at least once. He probably knew what Rang was going to say but felt the need to at least ask. A sweet yet heartbreaking scene of brotherly love.

I also love that Rang is now fully devoted to Yeo Hee. No more playing dumb and hard to get, he's found his love and he's not letting her go.

Also, this moment just bc I thought it was cute.

While watching episode 9 Rang and Yeo Hee’s relationship both made my heart melt and made me incredibly anxious for the upcoming episodes.

Back From The Brink: the cdrama that resurrected me

I rarely ever get past the first three episodes of a cdrama so me finishing like 14 episodes in 2 days was IMPRESSIVE. Especially since I’m supposed to be studying for my exams lol. 

I was obsessed with this show untill I got to episode 16 and my hatred for love triangles struck. I might finish watching it after all the episodes have come out, but my brain is not in the mood to be dealing with a second lead rn. 

That being said, anyone who doesn’t go mad with fury at love triangles and loves fantasy would probably really like this show! Def one of the best cdramas I’ve seen in a while. Would recommend!

(Tale Of The Nine Tailed ep 8 SPOILERS)

Lee Rang And Yeon Discuss Rang In The Future

Damn, what a scene. Where do i even begin.

I’m gonna be 100% honest and say I completely forgot about the fact that Yeon has his phone with the video with him. I think it would’ve been difficult for Rang to ever believe or fathom the situation so him being able to hear himself talk about it is honestly the easiest way.

Not to mention that this video is probably the most candid we ever see Rang in season 1. It’s one of the few times Yeon ever got a peek into Rang’s heart so it’s the easiest way for the Rang of the past to understand his future actions.

That being said, my heart melts at how quickly Rang dropped the topic of his own death to talk about Lee Yeon’s life span. He didn’t miss a beat in inquiring why the hell Yeon is going to die so soon.

And Yeon’s proud older brother moment at the end. For some reason this scene makes me think of the first time Yeon met Rang’s gang. That soft smile he gives whenever he sees the people that he’s going to be leaving his little brother with just warms my heart.

Long story short, although the quality of this video sucks (sorry lol) it’s def one of my fave scene of the season so far.

(Tale Of The Nine Tailed ep 7 SPOILER) How Lee Yeon Killed Moo Young’s Brother

Ugh, this situation is so complicated. 

I understand that Moo Young’s angry. With the soft, caring and loyal personality they established he had at the time it makes complete sense that he wanted to give his brother the chance to explain.

But I can’t blame Lee Yeon for not wanting to take the risk. The floor is literally littered with bodies. Yeon seeing this as a lost cause is very reasonable. Not to mention he was about the kill his best friend. I understand that this was a no brainer to him.

(TOTNT ep 7 SPOILER) Lee Rang Finally Grabbed His Chance And Got The Girl!

Not only did they kiss, Rang initiated it this time. Our little fox is growing up.

Rang Finds Out He Dies

This moment was so sad. I was curious if they were gonna tell him about the future and who was going to do it. But I can’t believe Moo Young just threw it out there! And Yeon doesn’t even know that Rang knows. Ugh, what a mess.

This is especially sad knowing that this was Rang just a few moments earlier in the episode:

He was willing to fight to the death for his brother, unwilling to let go. But the difference between sacrifing yourself for someone and knowing you’ll sacrifice yourself for someone, is very important. 

Not to mention that after this scene, he finally admitted his feelings for Yeo Hee by kissing her. Knowing him, it must’ve taken a lot for him to finally take that step with her. I can’t imagine how much it must hurt for him to know that he won’t have a future with her. And that all for the brother that he, untill a few weeks ago, thought had abandoned him.

Anyway, let’s end this on a wholesome moment as I hold my breath for the next episode:

Tale Of The Nine Tailed 1938: the mountain god trio is back together (episode 6)

The soft smiles as they realize they’re finally back to how they were back in the day. It’s so cute, you almost forget she stabbed them a day earlier.

Imma need these three to just stay bffs and stop killing each other. Please, this friendship is so much more wholesome than I expected.
