today i'm working on a summary paper, as well as a short critique paper on an assigned article for one of my state security classes!

i'm torn between wanting this semester to end and also needing five more weeks to get everything done lol

I realized I never really show pictures of my research so here is the progress of my current simulation run. It's simulating a star (white dwarf) detonating. a very simple overview: first the helium shell burns (hot enough for nuclear fusion) then the shock from that causes the center to detonate. also no general relativity hw this week so I'm focusing on research and more flowers :)

this week has been so long but i also still have so much to do. at least my campus has a really pretty pond!

i spent most of last night finding social media sources for my term paper and sometimes i think i'm pretty desensitized to certain topics but every now and then it really gets to me. at the same time, i'd rather do that research instead of reading about the causes of war lmao

i also want to go shopping tonight and get my elderly cat an easter present 🌸
