Aziraphale bought the land that the shop is on and a little of the land around it in the 1630s, using money he had saved up, almost none of which had been miraculously created. Then over the next sixty years he bought out individual shopkeepers, in a kindly way, and built the original shop on the corner, using local builders and craftspeople. He has continued to get local builders and craftspeople to work on the building over the centuries, paying them well and only doing the smallest of miracles to fix things he isn't satisfied with, or to make builders stop trying to work out how big the bookshop actually is. He makes enough to pay the rates on the shop, and more as a landlord of the shops around the bookshop, although none of them pay him anything like what Soho property would be worth.
Crowley found a flat he liked with a view he liked, and moved in. The bills get sent directly to Hell's financial department and Crowley's not paid rent yet.

New headcannon: everyone in that song is gay except the Piano Man who has no idea he’s playing at a gay bar and the staff and regulars have a betting pool on how long he’ll take to finally figure it out. So far John is ahead.
“The manager gives me a smile ‘cause he knows that it’s me they’ve been coming to see” also implies that the Piano Man is possibly an incredibly attractive but oblivious himbo, and if you listen to the rest of it imagining that, this all fits a little too well.
this makes too much sense. Also, the full quote is “Now John at the bar is a friend of mine. He gets me my drinks for free. And he’s quick with a joke or to light up your smoke. But there’s someplace that he’d rather be” Yes, your bed, he wants to be on your bed honey, that’s not a joke, he is flirting with you.
