I should add that I LOVE the blood curse in Love Nikki as a concept. IT'S SO DRAGON AGE-Y/DARK-SOUL-Y I SWEAR I'M NOT INSANE-

It's a curse imposed by an ancient being, The Enlightened. He was more or less betrayed in his dying moment, and as a mean to prevent more war and violence in the world as it was his one life goal, he created the curse. When he was killed, it was the end of what was known as the Golden Decade.

People born in Miraland can't use violence to physically hurt someone. If they do, they suffer the Blood Curse, a deep, burning, constant pain in their heart.

It did put a halt to wards and chaos, but the more time passes, the more it is seen as a forced peace, and more people are ready to suffer the Blood Curse no matter what. There's rumor of a cure being guarded by a Nameless Order, and the cure is almost stolen by a rogue scientist working for the League Tyr, a rebel faction of North Kingdom which tries to invade Southern Miraland. It holds the secret to a pseudo-cure that lessen the effects of the Blood Curse. Their leader, Nidhogg, refuses to take it despite suffering from the curse. This pseudo-cure is what led Nidhogg to want to break the Blood Curse in the first place, as he witnessed was such a cure could do: It rendered the other side powerless as they were facing ennemies immune to the blood curse while they would suffer it should they defend themselves.

The same scientist as before once took a deceased soldier, revived him and made unable to feel pain. He still suffers the curse but doesn't feel its effect. League Tyr uses him as a weapon as he does not remember his previous identity.

All countries have different opinion on the blood curse. For example, Cloud Empire is thriving with the peace it brings, but it doesn't have an army and has a vulnerable geographical position. Many people know the peace is only an illusion and won't be eternal.

IT'S SO FUCKING JUICY AND CRUNCHY AND THE LORE IS INSANE. AND IT'S USED TO JUSTIFY WHY PEOPLE ARE HAVING STYLIST COMPETITIONS INSTEAD OF ACTUAL WARS.

#one thing i miss about newer nikki games (sn in) is that they removed that aspect of it #well sn has an explanation but come on i want my blood curse badly regardless of how cool they all look holding guns #nikki #shut up vee

I actually do like a few! The first one from Cloud Realm and the Angel one are my faves. I just…can’t justify the price for them. 30k diamonds is a LOT, for a set that doesn’t move if you take just one piece off, and literally does not move for other players beyond the default swaying back and forth.

Also I feel like they’ve been slowly making the quality of these sets worse and worse. Maybe it’s the newer artstyle they’ve been adopting but for the past 2 years none of them look good or as detailed as the old ones 💔
