So this post crossed my dash but its in a community so i cant reblog it. However i need to be an infold hater so bad (tldr this is about the latest "apology" letter infold gave over infinity nikki. Photo duplicated for formatting reasons)
1. I didnt catch that when i read the apology but LMFAOOO WDYM THE RETCON WAS AN ACCIDENT. Thats a straight lie. Bitch how in the fuck do u go ahh i tripped *removes old intro* ahh im so clumsy *creates cutscene and new tutorial* ahhh i keep falling over *forces everyone to play the new thing on game launch* be so fr
2. Mention the amount of gem compensation; 8 pulls. Mention that if u dont log in all those days, u dont get ur apologems. Mention that even if it was 100 pulls it solves nothing really, but 8 is still insulting. Dont the 5 star banners end by the time u get these apologems anyway?
3. Private way to direct criticism is a very deliberate move. They're tryna direct all criticism to private channels so their social media isnt't blowing up with bad reviews and new players unfamilliar with what s happened maybe fins the game and never find out what they re walking into. They want u to stay quiet.
4. Mention that directly after posting this, they posted the 4 star banner + events promo. To bury the apology. And likely bcs they knew ppl would be Pissed if they posted the promos without an apology.. but didnt really wanna address anything.
No hate to the og poster i just got frustrated cuz it feels a bit hand waivy, but most importantly, what infold is doing is sneaky and many players might not catch it, so i thought i'd mention how this really really isnt an apology either. They deserve no benefit of the doubt, fuck infold forever
