I had seen their reality show and their debut but then I wasn't watching them as closely. I forgot how much I loved them. Anyway I'll be adding them to my list of groups so if you have any requests for them you can send it my way.

"Hey Seongwoo, did you want to meet up later today to study for that physics exam?" I asked him when I spotted him coming out of a classroom. "Definitely, I have no idea what is happening in that class." "Honestly I'm not far off. Hopefully two brains are better than one." “Alright we can meet up at the Coffee Hut.”
I walked into the cafe later that day. As I looked around, I didn’t spot Seongwoo seated anywhere so I took the liberty of finding a table. I chose a place towards the back so that we could concentrate better. Only a couple minutes later he arrived and I waved him over. “You ready to completely understand Physics.” He joked walking over. “Yeah like I could accomplish that in this amount of time.” “You gotta stay positive. We can do it!” Seongwoo put his hand up for a high five. I begrudgingly followed through.
A couple hours later we were still working through the packet problems. I looked down at my phone to check the time. “Where did all the time go?” I whined to no one in particular. “At this rate I’ll never be ready for the midterm.” “We’ll what are you stuck on?” Seongwoo asked, trying to be helpful. “I’m not really stuck in anything per say, it's more like it takes me forever to do the problems. How am I gonna do like 10 if these in a hour and a half exam?!” “Here let me see.” Seongwoo began looking over my work to see where I could be faster.
With him leaned over the table, I couldn’t help but notice his handsomeness all over again. I’ve been crushing on him since the beginning of freshman year. Luckily he was friendly enough that I was able to talk to him. Now it’s almost midterm season of sophomore fall and I still haven’t told him how I feel. I don’t know even know if he likes me back. “Y/N?” Seongwoo broke through my thoughts. I looked up at realizing he had asked me something. “Where’s your head at?” He chuckled slightly. “I’m sorry what’s you say.” “I was just gonna say that there is a faster way start most of these problems, here let me show you.”
By the closing time of the cafe, Seongwoo and I were still preparing for the midterm, moving on to practice problems. “Do you wanna continue this in my dorm.” Seongwoo offered. “I wouldn't mind that.” I followed him in the direction of his dorm.
By the time we reached his dorm, I already felt the creeping tiredness in my brain. I sat at his desk chair while he lounged on his bed. I groaned, twirling in the chair. “All that’s on my mind is physics.” “Now you know how I always feel.” I look up at him questioningly. “Physics crowd your brain, too?” He looked up and straight into my eyes “You’re always on my mind.” I felt speechless at his confession.
Without me answering,Seongwoo started to panic. “You don’t have to say anything. I tried to be cool but if you don’t feel the sam-” “No!” I shouted before he got any further. “No, I’ve had a crush on you for awhile now. I definitely feel the same.” I got up from the chair as I spoke, walking until I was right beside the bed. “That’s great.” He said, no sure what do with the fact that his feeling were returned. I leaned down and our lips locked. Eventually we pulled apart and he whispered, “More than great.”
I heard Minhyun knocking on the door as I was finishing the last touches for our date. I quickly grabbed my purse off my bed and went to answer the door. "You ready?" Minhyun asked when I greeted him. "Yep, let's go." He led the way back to his car.
We settled into the back of a nice restaurant. Minhyun held onto my hand as we looked through the menu together. “I’m so glad I was able to get this night out with you.” He said after giving the waiter our order. Between school and work it had been about two weeks since we were able to have a proper date night. Most days consisted of us working in each other’s presence without truly being able to appreciate the moment. “I know. This is really nice.” I lightly squeezed his hand as he smiled up at me.
By the end of the night we were both full of food and each other. We swung hands as we walked back to the car. I stopped right in front of the car, causing Minhyun to stop as well. “What is it?” He asked as he turned around. “There’s something that I’ve wanted to say for awhile and tonight is just so perfect I have to let it out. I love you.” I finally said the three words after our four months together. “You don’t know how long I have been waiting for this moment. I love you too.” He left a soft kiss on my lips before hugging me close. “I love you so much.” He breathed out.
We met again the next night to relax at home. We sat against either side of the couch so that our legs tangled in the middle. “Pass me the popcorn.” Minhyun sat up a little to hand it to me. “You know now that we love each other.” I joked “you should stay over tonight. It’s already getting late.” “I would love to because I love you.” He smiled.
By the end of the night we were both settling into my bed. I turned it look at him. “Can you get me some water?” He groaned without getting up. “That’s a lot to ask somebody, but if you say those three magic words, maybe I will.” “I’ll say it when you get back. Think of it as a reward, something to look forward to for being a good boy.” I laughed. He flicked my head before getting up.
Minhyun returned soon after. I smiled as I sat up in the bed. He handed me the water and settled back beside me. “Now where’s my reward.” I leaned in closer so he could hear me better and said, "I hate you." I laughed slightly, leaning away. "That's not what I heard last night." “Oh really what did I say then?” “Something along the lines of I adore you.” I put my hand to my chin as if in thought. “You know I can’t seem to recall.” He pinned me on the bed and rolled on top of me. “You know what you need to say.” “Do I?” “Fine then. I’ll give you an example. I love you.” He pecked my nose. “Now I remember. I love you too.” I leaned up capturing his lips with mine.

"Get everything we need." I told Jinyoung as I looked over the recipe one more time. "Aye aye captain." He mock saluted before grabbing all the ingredients. "Alright, try not to mess anything up this time." i pointed towards him, remembering the last time we tried to bake something. "It's not my fault, I didn't know it was salt not sugar." "It's pretty obvious, but that is besides the point." I started measuring out everything as Jinyoung preheated the oven. "You know a couple who bakes together stays together." He commented, coming back over to stand behind me with his arms lightly resting on my waist. "We can barely bake." I pointed out. "That...can be ignored." He kissed the side of my head. "We are doing something together."
When I finished combining the dry and liquids, I tasked Jinyoung with stirring the dough. "Here you go. Surely you can't mess this up." I sat on the counter beside the mixing bowl as he began wisking. "We'll see babe." He grinned, already some of the batter had fallen on the counter because he was stirring too aggressively. "Keep it in the bowl." I scooped up some of the half mixed dough and spread it on his nose. He turned to me with an exaggerated shocked face. "Did you just do what I think you did?" "You tell me." "Okay." He slowly turned back to the bowl. Before I could see what was happening he quickly turned back around and spread a large amount of the dough on my cheek. My mouth widened in surprise.
"Let me get that for you babe." Jinyoung said with fake smile before putting more on my other cheek. "Stop! We're not going to have any for the cookies." I exclaimed when it looked like he was going to spread some more somewhere on me. "You took it too far." I complained as I wiped it from my cheeks. "Don't start what you can't finish." He said, going back to whisking. I just threw the dirty paper towel at him in defiance.
Once the dough was finally done, I pulled out the cookie sheets and different cookie cutters. I rolled the dough out and then started using the cutters to make different shapes. I looked over to Jinyoung to see that he was doing the same thing. "A heart from me to you." I heard him say. I turned back around to see him holding up a heart he molded from the dough. "How sweet. My romeo." I feigned sweetly. "You're gonna learn to appreciate me more." He stated, placing the heart back on the dough. "I love it Jinyoung." I smiled. We placed the cookie sheets in the oven and waited for the timer to go off. I sat back on the counter and this time Jinyoung stood between my legs. His back leaned against the counter as I wrapped both arms around his shoulder and rested my chin atop his head.
The timer went and Jinyoung pulled out the sheets to let them cool down. When I went to check on how the shapes fared, there was a blob of a cookie sitting amongst the other shapes. "That was my heart you know." Jinyoung pouted. I couldn't help but laugh slightly. "It's fine. That just means you love me so much your heart melted." I kissed his cheek to cheer him up. "I guess you're right. You're so hot you melt my heart." I slapped his chest though I didn't protest.

"Ong stop it!" I yelled out as he shoved me slightly to win in our mario kart battle. "Your cheating." "All's fair in love and war." I rolled my eyes. "Your just mad because you're losing and you suck at this game." He pointed out. "Whatever. You had a head start." "I can't have a head start every time." He laughed. At that moment Daniel walked through the door, probably attracted by all the commotion. "Hey babe, what are you guys doing?" Daniel settled beside me. "I'm kicking her butt." I promptly kicked Seongwoo slightly with my foot. He only laughed at the gesture and kept concentrated on the screen. Daniel held me closer as he settled into the couch more. "Wait, babe you're gonna make me mess up! This is the last leg of the race." I tried to pry his hands off, but he held tight.
The game finally ended when Seongwoo passed the end at first place. "And like that I win again!" He gloated. He stood up and started popping in celebration. "Daniel you messed me up." I whined. He quickly let go of me and leaned back on the couch. I looked over and saw that he was pouting. As Guanlin popped in to play a round, I settled back with Daniel. "What's wrong?" "You were only focused on Seongwoo." Daniel pointed.
"Ahh. Are you pouting." I playfully grabbed one of his cheeks. "Was I not giving Daniel enough attention? You want me to give you a kiss?" I asked him in a baby voice. "Now you're just mocking me." He folded his arms over his chest. "Maybe I'll just kiss Seongwoo instead if you don't want to." I made to getting up, but he pulled me back down beside him. "He's a bad kisser anyway." I laughed at his statement. "Why do you know that?" "That's not the point right now." I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "if you say so."
"One more time." He said pointing at his lips. "Aim here." I rolled my eyes, but quickly obliged to his command. "Yah, cutsy couple." Seongwoo yelled from the other side of the room. "Take that somewhere else. I don't want to be infected by your nasty cuteness." "You're just jealous." Daniel shouted back. "Actually babe, I think you were the jealous one." I interjected. "Ssssh. We never speak of this again." He threw his arm over my shoulders and focused back on the mario kart tournament that started while we were distracted.

I slowly woke up with the feeling of an arm wrapped around my side. I turned around slightly to see that Jaehyun was still in the bed. I slowly looked over his entire face as the light shined, hitting different angles. How could someone with such a soft face act like the 'bad boy'? I slightly moved some of his hair out of the way when it fell over his forehead. The touch made him stir slightly in his sleep. I paused my movements as he settled back in. I was in the middle of moving his hair again when his eyes opened. He slowly took in his surrounding before a slight smile spread on his face. His deep dimples slightly uncovered themselves at the action.
"Morning." He spoke. "I'm surprised you're still here." I said rising out of his arms. He whined slightly and held his arms open. "Cuddle me a bit longer." I rolled my eyes, though I fell back into his arms. I relaxed on his chest as he rested his chin on top of my head. He took a deep breath before expelling it through his mouth. "This feels nice." Jaehyun wrapped his hands slightly more around me. I angled my head up to look at him and he stretched down for a kiss but I slightly moved my head so he landed on my cheek instead. "Morning breath." was all I said before getting out of the bed again. "Where are you going now?" "Bathroom."
By the time I finished brushing my teeth and washing my face, Jaehyun was already out of the bed. I found him once again in my kitchen. "The bed got cold without you there. I had no choice but to get up." He said as I went to start the coffee machine. "Coffee?" I asked as I reached for a mug. "Sure." I grabbed a second one and waited by the machine for the brew to finish.
"Do you have anywhere to be today?" He asked when I handed him his fixed cup of coffee. "Not that I know of." "Great, let's stay in and watch movies." I looked at him suspiciously as I took a sip of my own coffee. "What?! It will be a make up for last week." "Oh you mean when you went AWOL." He stood up from where he was previously leaning against the counter and walked over to me. "Think of this as a further apology." He said before leaning in and pecking my lips. I thought it over, knowing I really needed the break. "Come on sweetheart. Pick whatever you wanna watch. We can get all cuddly and order some take out later. Hmm? What do you say?" With a heavy sigh I finally spoke, "Fine." He cheered before going into my living room and already turning on the tv. Shortly after I followed him in, still holding my mug. I settled on the couch beside him and took the remote out of his hands.
I switched onto Netflix and went through the movies to find something I wanted. As I picked Jaehyun slowly moved over until he entrapped my middle to pull me impossibly closer. "I said we would cuddle." He said as he nuzzled his face into my neck. "Don't think this is going to turn into some Netflix & Chill session." I said swatting his face away. "Wouldn't dream of it." He answered back between laughs.
Though I spoke too soon. Halfway through the day I began to get slightly bored. I turned my head to leave small kisses along Jaehyun's jaw. As I travelled further down his neck, I could hear a quiet grunt which only made a small smile form over my lips as I carried on. "I thought you said no Netflix & Chill." I nipped a small section at the base of his neck which I had focused on. "No need to be violent sweetheart." I pulled my face back up to cover his lips with my own. The kiss instantly escalated as I opened my mouth in invitation.
I began to lift his shirt up when the sound of a phone went off. Jaehyun pulled back slightly to check on it when I went back to focusing on leaving kisses down his neck. "Hello?" He asked. I pulled myself back, but remained in his lap and raking my hands through his hair. Through the one side of the conversation I could hear, it sounded serious. "I know. I'll be right there." My mood immediately deflated at his final comment into the phone before hanging up. He looked into my eyes, already seeming apologetic. "Sorry, but I'm gonna have to go to handle some business." "Do you really have to go?" I said though I already moved out of his lap. "Afraid so. I promise I'll come back later." He got up from the couch and headed towards the door. "I don't know if I can believe that promise." His hand on the handle stopped when he heard my words. "Trust me, Ava." Were his last words before he stepped out. Disappointed with the change of events, I layed on the couch and changed movies.
I must have fallen asleep at some point because I woke to the sound of my phone ringing. I checked the time groggily to see that it was already 8 at night. My phone was still ringing so I went to pick it up. "Hello?" I asked, still half asleep. "Hello. Is this Miss Ava?" "This is she." "This is the Main St. police station. We have a Jaehyun Jung here detained. We were told we could call you to pick him up." "Wait. What?" "We can discuss further if you will come to the station." I grabbed my shoes and headed to the doors. "Okay, yeah I'm on my way." "Thank you miss." I hung up while also calling an uber, who knows when the bus would be coming now.
I arrived at the station to see Jaehyun sitting on the other sides of an officer's desk. "I can't believe you had me come down here!" I shouted when I entered. Jaehyun turned to me with an apologetic look. "Babe, It's not that bad." "I assume you are Miss Ava?" The officer behind the desk asked. "Yes." I sighed out, still glaring at Jaehyun. "Here have a seat." He pointed towards the other seat. As I sat down, Jaehyun tried to reach over towards me but I pushed his arm away. "Jaehyun here was trespassing on private property. Luckily the owner decided not to press charges, so he is able to leave now. Though there will be some damages that he will have to pay for. I assume you can take that up with the owner." "Thank you officer." I smiled politely towards him." With a "let's go." directed towards Jaehyun, I stood up without looking to see if he was following suit. "I'm sorry to have disturbed your evening." The officer said as I continued. "And you stay out of trouble." He stated towards Jaehyun. "Of course officer." Was his response before he tried to catch up with me.
Once we were outside, I finally confronted Jaehyun. "What were you even doing?" He only scratched the back of his neck, not even looking at me. "You better have some sort of answer since I had to come here for you." "It's hard to explain." I shook my head at his answer. "Of fucking course it is. Just like everything else in your life, it's some sort of mystery. Why didn't you just call one of the boys then." "They wouldn't have let me go if it was one of them, they know them as delinquents." "Whatever I just wanna go." I walked out to the sidewalk to where my uber was waiting. "Ava!" He called after me. "I'm sorry. I really am." He held the door open for the uber. "Just get in." I whispered, moving over for him.
We both walked through my front door. Already exhausted again, I started shuffling towards my room. "I think it will be best for you to sleep out here tonight." I turned to him before I grabbed a pillow and a spare blanket from the closet and placed them on the couch. I closed the bedroom door and collapsed onto my bed.
When I woke up the next morning, Jaehyun had already left. The only evidence of him being there was the folded blanket resting atop the couch.

After a late night out with an old friend, I finally arrived home and walked through the front door. "Why were you out so late?" Sungwoon startled me as he suddenly spoke from the couch. I put my hand over my chest in surprise, "You scared me. Why are you still up?" "Again why were you out so late." "Why are you questioning me? I told you I was going to be out late." I ignored his constant pestering and walked into our bedroom so that I could change clothes for the night. Sungwoon of course followed me in. "You were out with that guy friend of yours again, weren't you?" "You need to calm down. Like you said, he is my friend. I hang out with my friends. You can't just dictate who I see because you're a little jealous." "I'm not jealous?!" Sungwoon shouted. I just gave him a look. "Oh really, then what is all this about? Hmm?" I turned back around, not being able to listen to him for so long on something that shouldn't matter. "Cause I want to make sure you're not cheating on me."
"What did you say?" I immediately turned back around when those words left his mouth."You always stay out extra late when you meet him. It seems suspicious." "However long I spend time with my friend is how long I spend time with him. That does not allow you to immediately think that I ma in some way unfaithful." I looked away from him as I felt my eyes start to glass over. "Do you have that little faith in me?" "I-" He didn't finish his sentence, deciding instead to leave us surrounded in silence. "That's not what I meant to say." He tried again. "Can you just leave right now? I need time to think." "Babe, I took this too far." "I really don't want to talk to you right now. Please just leave." I sat down on the bed to try and get my emotions in order. I heard the bedroom door close as he left.

An hour later I finally left the room. I was surprised to see Sungwoon sitting by the door. "I thought you left." "I would never leave you." He said looking up at me. "And I wish you would think the same for me." He grabbed for my hand and I allowed him to slowly bring me to sit down beside him. "I'm so sorry for earlier. I really do trust you. It's just..." He rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb as he gathered his thoughts. "It's just sometimes I think you can do better and that at some point you would leave. When that seemed like a possibility, I didn't want it to happen."
"But nothing was happening. I understand that you can get insecure, do you think I always like when you have girls literally throwing themselves at you? But, at the end of the day I know that we are together for a reason and it will take something a lot stronger to break us apart. I'm the one you come to and we do good together." I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I know...I know." He turned his head slightly to place a kiss on the side of my head. We sat there together in the quiet space of the apartment. "I love you." I stated as he wrapped his arms around me. "I love you, too."

I hear the front door being unlocked as I placed the recently received takeout on the coffee table. "I'm back." Jinyoung called into the apartment. "In here." I responded. He walked into the living room, crouching down to leave a kiss on my forehead before sitting on the couch. He let a sigh out as soon as his body made contact with the furniture. "Long day?" I asked as I joined him. He nodded his head, "Just as always. Anyway what do we have here?" "Chinese." I simply stated. "I got your favorite."
I grabbed what Jinyoung normally ordered and handed it to him then reached for my own food. "So what did you do today?" I started to describe my day in between bites. I was in the middle of describing some office drama when a piece of broccoli fell out of my hair. I turned to Jinyoung to see a look of pure joy on his face. "Are you serious?!" He burst out laughing. "That was funnier than I thought it was going to be." He managed to say between his laugh. "You're an adult child." I stated though I couldn't help the smile that broke through my face.
"You know you love me." He teased, sticking his tongue out at the end. "You're only proving my point." I picked up a piece of chicken and threw that at him as revenge. It perfectly hit the middle of his forehead before it fell into his lap. "Oh it's on!" He continued to pick vegetables out of his dish and threw them towards my end of the couch. I retaliated with my own food until we were both covered in spots of sauce where the food had hit.
"I call a truce." Jinyoung said raising a napkin as his white flag. "You're the one who started it." I pointed it out. "You have an unfair advantage: you're too cute to continue on." I smiled slightly at the cheesy comment while rolling my eyes. "Sure." I said unimpressed. I moved closer so that we were side by side. He used his surrender flag to wipe the marks left on my face. After each place he wiped he placed a soft kiss. "Now that we have come to a consensus, why don't we head to bed?" He placed a final kiss on my lips. "Nice ry." I said as I pulled away. "The living room still needs to be cleaned up." I stood up ad patted his shoulder, heading towards our bedroom. "I have to clean by myself?!" He questioned in my direction. "Like I said earlier, you're the one who started it. Besides you lost too." "I called a truce to save you from losing!" He shouted after me as I started changing clothes. I shook my head at his statement. "Yeah right."

I dropped my gym bag near the front of the door. With a groan I threw my body on the couch. My boyfriend, Jinyoung, looked up from his laptop and chuckled at my antics. "How was practice?" He asked. I groaned again. "With semi-finals coming up coach is really pushing us. I'm tired of jumping and striking." I whined. "Babe, you are the best volleyball player I know. You guys got this in the bag." I glared up at him. "How many volleyball players do you really know." He moved his laptop to the side and moved closer to me. He pulled me up and had me face him. "Doesn't matter, still applies." He kissed me lightly and a soft smile graced my lips. "Whatever I need to go take a shower." I got up and headed towards the bathroom. "I could join you." I rolled my eyes. "Pervert."
After getting ready for bed, I joined Jinyoung on our bed. "So..." I said, pulling the blanket up. He hummed in acknowledgement yet his eyes were still on his phone. "I was wondering if you would be able to make the semi-final game." "When is it?" "Next Thursday." He finally looked, accompanied with a slightly guilty look. "I'm sorry, babe, I have a really important meeting that day." I looked down slightly disappointed. "Oh yeah that's fine. I understand." I went to turn off my bedside lamp and turned away from Jinyoung. "Come on babe." Jinyoung laid down and hugged me from behind. "You know I would go if I could." "I know, but that doesn't mean I can't be slightly sad about it." Jinyoung said nothing more after that.

My teammates and I were prepping in the locker before the big game. The pressure of the semi-finals had me checking my phone every five seconds, just itching to get o the court. I was also semi-hoping that Jinyoung would let me know his plans changed and he could actually make it. "Come on ladies let's get out there and kick some ass." Coach came in to round everyone up. I slipped my phone back in my bag and followed out with the team.
The game played out to be back and forth. Whenever we got a lead, the other team would quickly catch up. The game extended pass that usual 25 points. With the ball finally in our court, someone behind me received the ball and the setter set it up. I quickly ran over and spiked the ball onto the other court. The other team wasn't quick enough to catch it and we finally won over. The cheers in the crowd was defining as my group circled around each other in cheers.
As the crowd from the stands filtered out onto the court in celebration, I felt a pair of arms around my waist. I quickly turned around only to realize it was Jinyoung. I was instantly glad that it was someone I knew and then my eyes widened in realization. "You're actually here!?" I cheered. "You came to see me?" I threw my arms around his neck and he kissed my on the cheek. "Why else would I be here?" "I thought you couldn't make it." "I moved things around. I couldn't miss this big win." I couldn't hide the smile that broke out my face. "Well I'm glad you could come." I rested my forehead on his before we leaned forward for a kiss. "Told you you were the best volleyball player." He said once we pulled apart.

I stared down at the results, unsure of how to feel. My best friend was right beside me as she placed her arm around my shoulders. The two lines that completely changed my future looked back up at me. "It's gonna be fine, right? I mean it's not like this was from a one night stand, it's your husband." she said trying to console me. "I know but, it's so early into the marriage. We talked about not having kids 'till like 3 or 4 years in. Now what?" I slowly sat on the ground, still shocked that my hunch was correct. "What if this changes our relationship? We literally got married a couple of months ago." "If a surprise baby changes your relationship, then maybe you weren't meant to be. But besides that, I don't think that's the kind of guy Daniel is. Knowing him he would probably be happy to start a family with you, even if it is a little earlier than planned." I nodded my head, knowing she was right. "But still, how am I gonna tell him." "How about you make an appointment with an OB/GYN to confirm and then tell him." she suggested. "Yeah that sounds good."

It's been two weeks since I found and I was finally able to visit the doctor. It's been stressful the whole time trying to keep it away from Daniel. I know he would be supportive, but I couldn't help being nervous. A definite confirmation from the doctor would make it easier to tell him. "Mrs. L/N, the doctor is ready to see you." a nurse called, stepping into the waiting room. I followed her back into one of the examination rooms and waited for the doctor to some in. "How are you doing today, Y/N?" she asked as she sat down. "Doing good Dr. Fletcher." "Alright says here that you want to confirm a pregnancy?" I nodded my head. "Alright we can take a quick blood sample and the results will be back to you soon." The nurse came in again to take my blood and the doctor promised to call for when the results were ready.
When I arrived back home, Daniel was sitting in the living room looking on his phone as the tv played in the background. He looked up as I opened the front door. "Your back." He smiled. I layed out next to him. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder as I leaned into him. "Where were you." "Oh, just a check up at the doctor." It wasn't exactly a lie, so I tried not to sound too guilty. "You didn't tell me you were going to the doctor." He slightly frowned. I craned my neck up and kissed the corner of his mouth to erase the frown. "Must've slipped my mind."
When the results were finally ready I got the call mid afternoon. "Congratulations, Mrs. L/N, you're pregnant. Would you like to schedule your prenatal appointment now?" The receptionist asked over the phone. "Could I call back later to set that up." "Of course." she cheered before hanging up. Though I already knew the reality, I still had the slight possibility that the home test was wrong. Now I had to actually tell Daniel. He wasn't scheduled to come home to later at night, so I had time for myself to prepare how I was going to break the news.
Once night had finally fallen, my nerves were all over the place. Hearing his keys in the lock only intensified them. I sat on the couch of the living room ready to tell him. "Hey babe." he kissed my cheek as he passed by, heading towards our bedroom. I slowly breathed in and out to calm down. Once he came back out, changed from the day, he settled on the couch near me. "Um...Daniel?" I hesitated, which caught his full attention. "Something wrong? What happened?" He looked up at me, trying to figure out the problem. "I actually have something to tell you that I'm kind of nervous about." He scooted closer so he could hold my hand. "Go ahead, tell me." I looked down at our hands slowly playing with the ring on his finger, our wedding ring. "I'm..." I let a deep breath out. "I'm pregnant." I finally looked up after delivering the news.
Daniel stared back at me with wide eyes. "Pregnant...like pregnant pregnant? Like there's a baby inside of you?" He fumbled through his words, looking between my eyes and my stomach. I laughed slightly at his shock. I nodded. "Yep, there's a little bun in the oven." He immediately leapt forward to pull me into a strong hold. "I can't believe this. This is so amazing." He said once we pulled apart. "You're actually excited?" I questioned nervously. "This want change things?" He gently held both sides of my face. "Of course I'm excited. I'm your husband. It's my job to be there for you and now this baby. Yeah, it's a little earlier than we thought but that doesn't makes me any less happy. This will be good." He gently pressed his lips against mine. "I can't believe I was so nervous to tell you." I chuckled. "Don't worry babe, I'll always be here." He smiled back.
