Wedding planning

So for those who know (which won't be many since noone I know follows me here) I'm getting married next year..... I would normally be super excited but things have hit a major spiked bump in the road.... I can't really get into it (nothing with my fiance, we are still getting married) but its caused me to hate planning my wedding.... I feel like I'm not getting support and every desicion I'm trying to make is getting backlash from every angle. The only support I'm getting is from my Fiance who is just as furious as I am. This should be a happy occasion but it's becoming tedious....

Good day!

I woke up at 7 am today. Not usually something I would be very happy about but it was kind of a happy moment when I got a notification on my phone saying I got my last paycheck from my old job. I then jumped out of bed, threw some yoga pants (oh so comfy) and a shirt on and made my way to Whole Foods. Call me boojee but I like fresh produce and some mango juice every once in a while.

I ran in my heart a flutter with food anticipation and grabbed tons of beautiful avocados, raspberries, carrots, and cucumbers. I got my tropical juice (little heavy on the ginger if you ask me but it was still yummy) and headed to the cheese section where to my surprise they had little snack packs of fresh mozzarella and if you know me I LOVE mozzarella! Grabbing some mozzarella, gouda, and chedder I turned to find my favorite olives on sale (can’t say no to that) so I scooped some into a container and added to the cart.

I shopped around for the next 30-45 minutes before finally checking out with various meats, cheeses, produce, and snacks for my new meal planning. by the time I got home my Fiance was up and playing video games (his way of starting the day) and we got to talking.

Now, side note, my fiance also works for a pack and ship shop and he explained that my store manager, his store manager and our DISTRICT manager all went to another store to do an audit. Fiance’s manager asked my manager how I was doing and they had nothing but good things to say! My manager said he sees me going far in the company (just like I want to do!)

Can this day get any better???

New Experience

Today is a new day with a new challenge for me, a new section of my store to work in. I work at a print and ship shop and I’ve worked in shipping for the past month and a half and now that I’ve told my manager I would like to become an assistant manager one day (not for a couple years though) they thought it was about time to put me in the print shop. This of course makes me extremely nervous. The fiance is telling me not to be nervous that I’ll make mistakes but I’ll learn but surprisingly, the words of wisdom don’t help. New experiences are always scary for me and will always be.

For Example, I drove out to Georgia with my aunt and uncle to visit my cousin for her graduation from College. it was a 14 hour drive and the longest I’d ever been away from my fiance. I probably had 3 stress headaches, constant eye twitching, always on edge, and not to mention constant stomach aches. After Georgia it was up to Biltmore house in  North Carolina. It was the most beautiful scenery I’d ever seen but it didn’t stop the constant panic. New things have always scared me some more than others. Now I can say with certainty that I am not that nervous about today but it doesn’t make the change any easier.

I’m sure today won’t be bad but that won’t stop me from worrying like crazy.

Let me introduce myself

I will not give out my real name but you may call me Ladybug (its my nickname). I am 22 living with my fiance. I love scary movies and haunted houses but I also love shows like Steven Universe and Miraculous Ladybug. I have a very wide range of fandoms I’m a part of. I love to help people and meeting new people with similar ideas as me and honestly I’m always looking for new friends to talk to (even if they are pen pals).

New Beginnings

Everyone is telling me to write. My sister, my mom, my fiance, and even my therapist. Here’s the thing though, I don’t know what to write about. I could write in my brand new journal (1 of many brand new journals) or I could try to reach out to people and be help to others who might need a motivational quote or two to help them through the day.

I could either do WritersCafe or Tumblr.... WritersCafe just seems to be for people who know what the hell they are doing and I can guarantee I do not know what I am doing writing or otherwise. Tumblr just seemed like a good place to start. I guess my next post should be a get to know you kind of thing for those who want to follow. Can’t follow someone you barely know. Thats just weird right? (coming from someone who follows tons of fandom people on instagram and has full convos with them with no problem whatsoever)
