Arthur walked the palace halls, exhausted from once again having to travel. These diplomatic trips were getting out of hand. He was away for too long and had a wedding to plan. He reached the room that served as an office for him and Juliana and entered. Arthur smiled as he…
Arthur smiled once again, feeling at home in Juliana’s arms. “And I have missed you. Now, what is this you are working on? More wedding plans?” In all truthfulness, Arthur was ready to be done with planning the wedding and actually married. He had waited a very long time to be with Juliana and he was ready. “So tell me, has anyone actually come up with a date for the wedding? Or are we still in the early stages of planning?”
Juliana turned her head back to the papers she had been working on though she kept her arms firmly around Arthur. “Yes, more wedding plans and aside from the date which no one would choose without your presence we are almost done. The whole of the kingdom is in a frenzy waiting to hear when their king will wed.” Juliana smiled excited they were so close to finally being married. To say they had been waiting a long time to be together was not doing justice to all they had gone through to finally be so close. The only thing keeping them from their dream now were these diplomatic travels that called Arthur from Camelot so often.
Arthur let out a frustrated sigh. Of course they waited for him. But he felt like he didn't even know when he wanted to get married. He just wanted it done as soon as possible. To be able to finally call Juliana his wife would be amazing and he wanted it as soon as possible. "When's the soonest we can pull it off? I just want to be married to you my lady," Arthur confessed. He figured straight out honesty would be the best. "And do remember we want as many of Camelot's citizens to attend as possible," he said, remembering that the palace steps was most likely the location of their wedding.
