· Polypropylene (PP) is non-toxic, odorless, low in density, good in formability, easy to color, and its outstanding feature is bending resistance, so it is often used for curved wire. But its wear resistance is poor, the field service life is short, and the scope of application is narrow.
· Nylon (PA), PA nylon features grass rebound, comfortable foot feeling, but expensive. It has good abrasion resistance, but the material is too hard and can easily burn athletes' skin.

Mesh artificial grass process is divided into two types: large open mesh and small open mesh. The PE/PP material is made into a fiber flat film through a die, and then it is cut into narrow strips according to a certain width, and then heated and drawn. , and then use the open mesh process to form a mesh structure. This process, known as the split-film method, has the advantage of high yield, but the uniformity of the filaments is poor and the appearance damage is greater. The mesh has poor toughness and is easy to bifurcate, and is currently used in football fields, basketball courts, etc.
Monofilament artificial grass process has two types: sliced monofilament and extruded monofilament.
1. The sliced monofilament raw material is formed into a sheet-like structure after a high-temperature extrusion process, and then the sheet-like fiber is cut to form a fibril structure. This kind of grass has better simulation effect, and the single grass fiber is thinner, but it is not easy to form a stable structure, so it will be much worse in terms of wear resistance and tensile strength.
2. Extrusion of monofilament the PE raw material and related additives are dissolved at high temperature by the machine and then extruded into a single piece through a spinneret. After being processed separately, the grass silk can be formed into various shapes of grass silk, such as: rhombus, oval, etc. These shapes are controlled by the spinneret, the special-shaped grass filament structure is more stable, the grass filaments are upright, wear-resistant, not easy to bifurcate and other properties are improved.
