2x06 “Keep your enemies closer” :

I don´t know if this is MY FAVORITE episode, but “Keep your enemies closer” is definitely ONE OF MY FAVORITE episodes, for many reasons. After I watched this episode, I knew it. I knew Oliver had feelings for Felicity, the final speech just give it away for me. But not just that, all what happens in this episode is meaningful for me: how Oliver denies his feelings for Felicity in front of Isabel, the silly way he wants to show that Felicity is just a friend, the way Oliver watches Felicity while she walks away at the end, Felicity´s dissapointment, the way they work thogether to help Diggle... But I knew two more things after this episode: 1. The writers were going to develop a romantic relationship between Oliver and Felicity sooner or later. This episode would be a waste of time if that wasn´t the intention 2. Oliver and Felicity worked together, and not just in a partnership or comic scenes, they worked as a couple, they could make work a romantic and angst arc.

For all these reason, “Keep your enemies closer” will always be special to me.
