Okay this is more of an infodump than explanation because I'm crazy, but you'll still get the general idea hopefully

For those who don’t know, this has all been happening on Club Penguin Journey. Where Tourdude is (or was) a mascot. His last visit was during Camp Penguin, a party that happened in 2024. Then Veggie Villain (aka Herbert blowing up the PSA) happened right after. No one thought anything of this. Until the 2024-2025 yearbook dropped and had this:

Dude just straight up went missing in the corn field.

After that we didn’t get much information besides other mascots occasionally mentioning him. Some examples I’ve found:

Now things really picked up during Journey’s 3rd Anniversary party, where tourbots were set up in various rooms. But instead of them just giving trivia questions like they were supposed to, they were glitching out and saying vaguely mysterious things. The prime examples:

We also got the EPF Scavenger Hunt halfway through the party. PSA agents could talk to Rookie who asked you to gather stuff to investigate the malfunctioning TourBots. After completing it he gave you a car, because why not.

Throughout the party (and afterwards I think) there were updating codes on the TV in EPF HQ. Basically stating they're launching an investigation into the strange behavior of the tourbots.

Since then nearly every Club Penguin Times has contained a reference to Tourdude, the tourbots, or a vague hint that something's gonna happen soon. This is getting long already, so there’s the most notable ones to me (in order):

It’s been 2 years since Tourdude went missing, they’ve been teasing us for 3 months now, technically more if you count the other mascots mentioning him.

I miss my wife tails... I miss her a lot...
