When the bands first arrived at their sets, most of the ones who had beef with each otherβlike the Haddonfield maniacs (Michael and RZ Mickey), would always have constant arguments and beefs going on with any other bands that arrived. At first the workers and staff were WORRIED and had to literally hold them back so they wouldnβt end up killing each other.
As time passed, they just watched things go down and only intervened if things got REALLY bad.
By then everyone had gotten used to it, and any new rookies were told either behind the scenes that it was normal or just to watch the shit go down.
A similar thing happened when a new staff member, a cheery and happy rookie, arrived on a day when the Haddonfield maniacs and Sinclair Voyance were on the same set. At first the rookie saw only small clapbacks and minor arguments between them, but when a fight broke out, both Michael and the other guy were shaking, yelling at other staff members to hold them down.
Everyone else just stared at the scene like it was a normal occurrence. The rookie, not knowing what was typical, frantically looked for ways to separate them but wasnβt really helping. Vincent placed a hand on the rookieβs shoulder, reassuring them and explaining that these incidents are the most common thing that happens, so they donβt need to worry. βTrust me, they tried to do so,β he said, though it did not end well.
It isnβt just the fights the staff have gotten used to; there are many more. For Asa and Jesse (The Collector and Chromeskull), the arguments have become like an old married coupleβs.
They have also gotten used to Billy Lenzβs daily mischief, his animalistic sounds, and the random questions he asks staff members. Brahms no longer has to hold Billy down; the staff are entirely chill about it now, though Brahms is still embarrassed and apologizes to them.
The staff have also become accustomed to Billy and Stu constantly arguing and fighting, with punches flying through. They simply try to avoid getting in the way if things get out of hand.
And so, whatever the Haddonfield maniacs are beefing about with literally any other band, the staff have learned to just watch and intervene only when absolutely necessary.
