how'd you pick up guitar? when'd you start learning?

Nakaji squinted wearily at Meteor as he approached him with wise words advice he’ll gladly discard and a new guitar! The ravenette hesitated for a moment before taking the gift.
“Uh..Thanks...? But first, who the hell are you, and how do you know me again..?”
"Nakaji, I have travelled from my humble residence to give you gifts for your birthday," Masamune looked very proud of himself. "I'm sure you'll make use of these, someday." A black box the size of a shoebox was placed into Nakaji's hands. Inside of the box was about ten smokebombs and a few throwing knives and shurikens. Since Nakaji had a katana, the thief thought that other types of weapons and such would be perfect for his darkness-loving friend. (-@ojamaxhell)
“I’m somewhat afraid of what’s in this box.” Nakaji stated flatly as he took the box from Masamune.
The teen peeked inside of the box to find...Well, weapons. He should have expected such things but considering how Masamune is he had reason to be afraid of the gift being something that would ‘appeal to the youth these days’ like a minion toy or something.
He smiles.
“Heh, thanks old man! I can’t wait to use these.”
Que the sound of a party horn being tooted repeatedly. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BEST FRIEND," Taro threw one of his hands up. "I got you the biiiiggest freakin' cake ever!" The surfer presented Nakaji with a Pineapple Pudding cake."Aaand I didn't know what to get ya, but here ya go! Hope you like 'em!" Inside a yellow gift bag was a new glasses cleaning kit and an assortment of spicy and salty snacks. (-@ojamaxhell)
Nakaji had come to expect Taro to pop up randomly, and his birthday was certainly no exception. He looked to the cake with a lifted brow; he’s never tried a cake like that before, but hey, cake is cake.
He looked in the bag...
Oh nice, he had lost his stuff to lean his glasses and he could go for a snack before he eats some cake---
“This is dumb.” the ravenette said, reaching into the yellow bag and taking out a bag of chips and opening it. “I luff it.” came the muffled response as he stuffed his mouth.
"S-Special devilery...!" Sayuri squeaked from behind the couple of boxes she was trying her best to hold onto. "A-Ah, Happy Birthday, Nakaji! She was able to balance the boxes in the crook of her arm as her other hand held out a costume crown to her taller boyfriend. "You get to be a king, today," she smiled brightly. In one of the boxes would be a new laptop. In the other would be an external drive loaded with a lot of different games on it. -(@flyxfarxaway)

Nakaji’s eyes widened behind his glasses as Sayuri approached him with the boxes and the crown she had for him. What was inside he wondered.
“A-Ah, thank you, Sayuri.” Nakaji smiled, normally dead tone now much more gentle and light. He took the crown and replaced his hat with it instead; in truth, he felt a little silly wearing it but since Sayuri gave it to him he loves it.
He carefully took the boxes as well and smiled a teensy bit wider before opening them and looking down at the gifts in shock.
“S..Sayuri.. You didn’t have to get me something so expensive--!” he practically squeaked. He’s not worth this much--!!! “I--..T..T-Thank you Sayuri...I love it.” he finished.
It was easier to thank her rather than to stumble over his words, trying to explain he doesn’t deserve such a nice gift.
“It’s my birthday, you know what that means!”

Nakaji felt nothing in the split second there was a loud BANG and fire escaped from the box....before he felt nothing but unbridled rage towards the thief. MASAMUNE JUST BROKE THE OTHER ONE NOT TOO LONG AGO; NAKAJI IS GOING TO FUCKING KILL THIS OLD MAN---
The boy tackled his friend, hands wrapping around his throat.
“GIVE ME ONE REASON I SHOULDN’T FUCKING END YOU RIGHT NOW?!?! MY MOM JUST BROUGHT THAT BECAUSE YOUR DUMB ASS BROKE THE LAST ONE!”

He held out a bouquet of plush animals; they consisted of a variety of cats, hamsters, and dogs, all of them had little ribbons wrapped around them.
