Chione was grinning from ear to ear, carrying his brand new TV through a Target-like market wearing a blue superhero suit with a red cape. The store’s logo was a ball of fire. Chione saw me standing by the elevator button, and began telling me how excited he was to take his new monitor home. 

Where a traditional elevator would be, there was regular supermarket tile. When Chione pressed the button, some kind of a super modern platform emerged a few inches off the ground. He stepped on, still cheesing, but once he stepped on, the platform continued to move up, and a traditional elevator began to move up from the ground. He quickly passed the TV box to me, and braced himself to stop it from squishing him into the ceiling. In a few seconds, there, Chione was, in a superhero outfit, trying to stop the elevator from moving up, arms above his head pushing against the ceiling and feet planted firmly on the elevator’s top. His face was all scrunched up, and he was very close to the LED light on the upper part of the wall that showed the market’s fireball logo, when the light caused his cape to catch on fire.

Julie slept over that night, and I dreamt that when we woke up we were saying GOOD MORNING!!!!! while choking each other. Then I fell asleep again and woke up and Julie swore it never happened.

Dream 05/31/2017

My fish tank was sitting on a shelf unit that had a smaller fish tank built into it on the top. I decided to move my fish over and as I was pouring the water, my three goldfish fell out. I tried picking up the first one, but he was jumping away from me. He kept jumping until he landed in Wyatt’s shoe, and when I went to get him, he was in pieces. Not sure what happened to the other two, but when I got up and turned around, I realized that the fish tank actually went very deep into the shelves, to about six inches above the ground. With the added water, a big koi fish, a goldfish with a fanning tail, and a couple of jellies started swimming. They were alive.

I woke up from a dream and there was someone standing by this map in my room, asking what had happened to it. I looked up and each square had been colored messily in crayon. I had anxiety and I didn’t have an answer.

Judy was on her way to LIB and learned that there was going to be a haunted house at the site on saturday. We were supposed to meet Julie at the Air BNB in Italy and were cracking up watching her drive her Vespa with a UCLA helmet on.
