The only natural Ed → Riddler switch in the show was with Jim… “I knew it was you, Ed” being sort of a trigger to make Riddler front in span of seconds...

The worried look morphing into that one confident smirk, his voice becoming raspier, saying that clock riddle, pretending to be offended with the dramatic hand "Me?", feeling so fucking flattered when Jim confronts with the "You." smiling wide and laughing and saying that tongue twister “I knew you knew that I knew”
