favorite title - Well shit. It’s gonna’ sound cliche but it’s definitely a tossup between X and VII. Prefer the actual game of X but man the VII-verse is rockin’ (so it X but).
least favorite title - VIII. I have tried to play it multiple times but I HAAAAAAAATE the junction system and just everything about the structure of stats in that game. My friend and I have decided that we refuse to ever play it but we will watch a playthrough at some point.

what was the first ff game you played? how old were you? - X, and I was 11. Funny enough I picked it up because I loved Kingdom Hearts and I was like HEY THIS IS MADE BY THE SAME COMPANY AND SOME CHARACTERS IN KH CAME FROM IT SOOOOOOO.
favorite protagonist - Zidane probably. I just love his goofiness and the fact he isn’t overly suffering from Anime Angst™. Oh wait I just forgot I really like Zack too if we are going by playable main characters of games...
favorite antagonist - Hahaha... you guys can take a guess. c:
all time favorite character (hero or villain, major or minor character, etc) - Uhhhhh I don’t know if I really have one? I really like Seymour and all but that’s on a weird level that doesn’t necessarily stem from actual liking-the-character-more-than-others. So I don’t know. haha
that one character you just really can’t stand - Probably Vaan - not that I hate his character so much as I just hate his role. Vaan is absolutely useless as the primary character. Considering Basch was originally intended to be the main character of the game and they kind of shoehorned Vaan in too all the promotional materials and tried to make him out as the main character because “Younger audiences won’t be able to identify with an older man!!!” it’s just stupid. Really stupid.
something you wish you could change about anything in any of the games - VIII’s whole game mechanic. The gambits in XII had potential but kind of broke the game in some senses. Haha Seymour should have also joined the party after Operation Mi’Hen or Guadosalam and you should have been able to move him around the sphere grid and whatever you did on the sphere grid would have carried over to the battle in Macalania Temple. It would have been great. I will never shut up about this ever. Also put Seymour as an added villian in Dissidia when Yuna was added.
favorite magic and summoning system - X. By far. I love building magic on the sphere grid. I also love that Aeons are their own “party members” per se. Materia is also really cool ‘cause you can move it around.
favorite type of magic (black, white, red, blue, etc) - Black magic. I’m lame. I love seeing those high damage numbers.
favorite summon spell - Leviathan is pretty cool. :3
a ff character you’ve been wanting to write as but haven’t yet - I’d love to write for Rikku or Yuffie or something (you’ll see why in a few questions) but honestly I’d have to go with Kadaj. I used to chatplay him on Neopets back in the day and I’d love to see how I interpret him now. Also Cid from VII would be pretttttyyy fun to write dialogue for.
favorite pairing (be it romantic, familial, brotp, enemies, etc) - Dude my love for the Chocobros as friends is like, never-ending. Also that campfire scene fucking broke me and I’m never going to get over their friendship. There’s also Clack, which is one of my OTPs. Their friendship is also tragic.
character you most relate to - Probably Rikku or Yuffie. Yes it’s a character type. I intend to cosplay both one day! They’re both really bouncy and peppy in general and I feel I’m that way when I’m actually around people I know.
favorite graphics and artwork for the game and characters - Honestly I really like overall vibe of XII - it just has always felt super coherent and immersive to me (characterizations and plot aside). XIII also had really nice graphics and I pretty well liked the character designs as well.
if you could live in any of the ff universes, which would you choose? - Honestly probably XV because I’m lame and don’t want to live somewhere without internet and technology and all that jazz. It’s pretty modern lol.
a minor character in any of the ff games that you wish there had been more of- I would have LOVED to see more of Braska and Jecht. There’s a lot of story there. Also I was just saying the other day I wish you could have learned more about Kimarhi - I know he isn’t a minor character but I feel like Kimarhi and the Ronso culture in general were underdeveloped.
favorite boss battle in any of the ff titles - Haha bet you couldn’t guess but I really liked the Seymour fight in Macalania. Also enjoyed fighting the Tsviets in Dirge of Cerberus, I dunno why. Also the Demon Wall in like VII and XII and stuff is pretty cool.
which ff game would you most like a remastered, improved version of? - VII BUT GUESS WHAT IS HAPPENING HAHA. Also give me a current-gen version of fucking Dissidia and I’ll be set.
