Lungs are practically screaming against his body, that ghosting hand on his chest just gives him a target, his eyes dropped to it with an amused drag of his gaze before flicking right back up to her face. It takes just a single touch and his mind lights on fire like he's some love-struck teenager standing in front of his crush. Losing the upper hand against her is always more difficult, more taxing. I can hear it, you know. ‘ he murmurs, tapping a finger lightly against his own temple, grinning like an idiot. ‘ It’s practically deafening. Besides, walking out that door?
