Somewhat unrelated, but I actually think snorkeling and scuba diving should be allowed at that wreck.

Truk Lagoon in Micronesia has the greatest wreck diving in the world, and the entire location is officially designated as a Japanese War Grave.

There was controversy surrounding scuba diving there. I thought that was stupid, and I think it's dumb that this site bans it.

I think the term "sapphic" is kind of dumb.

It's vague, not well-known by the general public, doesn't sound powerful.

Polygraph tests / "lie detectors" are complete pseudoscience.

The evidence is overwhelming that there is just no scientific basis for this shit. They might as well have cops do palm-reading on suspects.

The fact that so many Americans believe that these things actually work is proof of just how unquestioning and susceptible people can be to established "truths."

Btw I've personally beaten lie detector tests maybe... half a dozen times now, I guess?

The term "zionist" is an obsolete historical term that's not relevant today.

It refers to the late-19th- and early-20th-century movement that sought to create a Jewish nation-state, which culminated in the establishment of Israel in 1948. After that point, the term became increasingly irrelevant and meaningless.

The constant use of the term "zionist" I see online, usually in some kind of disparaging fashion, is baffling and not accurate.

The ending to Game of Thrones was fine.

I was in a very weird situation where I saw it maybe a year after it aired, without knowing anything about the controversy, and I liked it overall. I was shocked to learn about the backlash.
