I love how in Albanian we didn’t lose the meaning of “i love you”

There are 3 different ways to represent your emotions.

“Te kam xhan” - the one you say to a friend.

“Te dua” - the one you say to the closest people in your life.

“Te dashuroj” - the one you say to your soulmate.

See, people might have lost the meaning to those words but the emotions behind them are still there. There are still people who love and mean their words.

That’s why I love saying “I love you” in albanian, because you can say it in different ways but the meaning is still the same.

I'm the kind of person that usually knows what she wants,you know.Like,if I have a crush i know that even if he DOES like me back we will probably not work out.I know that even if we like each other now,we will grow out of it.I know the role that person plays in my life,and I know the role I play in their life.I know we're not meant to be,and you know what thats okay.Cuz we can't always get what we want and we won't always want the same things.So I don't pursue someone when I know that this(what we are now) is all we're meant to be.
