The Humans
The Sergeant
The Sergeant is a man desensitised and toughened by war. As a true altruist, The Sergeant will offer the home owner additional protection from him simply being inside of the house, giving the home owner a sense of high power and bravery from this unknown man. If let into the home owner's house, unlike other guests, the home owner may pick a room of the house for The Sergeant to stay in, protecting any other guest in the same room that he has been assigned to, removing the ability for any visitor to attack a guest (including himself) in the chosen room that The Sergeant protects. Additionally, if the home owner pulls out their gun on The Sergeant, he will immediately spring into action and headbutt the home owner, knocking them down and removing an additional energy before helping the home owner up and apologising. Furthermore, if the home owner is attacked by The Armed Man with the assault rifle, The Sergeant will immediately rush outside and fight off the man, protecting the protagonist and others inside of the house
The Psychopath
The Psychopath is a deranged killer who is endlessly seeking for kills and thrills, taking advantage of those desperate enough to let others into their homes for company and hope that The Pale Visitor will not kill them. At first glance, outside of the home owner's door, The Psychopath seems to be very polite and eager to help out anyone that needs it, but upon entering the home owner's house, that's where things get messy. Just like visitors, if The Psychopath enters the home owner's house, they will kill one human every night, with the only difference being that they will leave the corpses of their victims on the floor rather than in bags. Despite not having any signs of being a visitor, other than their reddened eyes, upon entering the home owner's house, a blood-soaked knife will also appear in the home owner's kitchen, suggesting that there is more than just the visitors that have to be worried about. Once there are no more humans for The Psychopath to kill, just like how visitors will, they will kill the protagonist and initiate a secret ending.
The Visitors
The Hooded Guy
The Hooded Guy is a Visitor who appears as a shy and mostly independent person whose first interaction with the home owner is just after a fight with another Visitor. The home owner immediately notices the similarities between The Hooded Guy and his own behaviour, and his lack of a desire to be let into the home owner's house gives them a sense of friendliness, pushing them towards allowing The Hooded Guy into their home. Despite being a Visitor, The Hooded Guy will do nothing but show gratitude and great respect towards the home owner once in their house and will not attack any human in the house, even warning the home owner if another Visitor has entered their home without pointing fingers as to who it may be. Furthermore, if the home owner chooses to execute The Hooded Guy, he will understand what has to be done and will allow them to kill him without aggression.
The FEMA Fraud
The Visitor known as The Tall FEMA Agent is a manipulative and devious Visitor who attempts to get into the home owner's head and build up a sense of familiarity and false security by appearing like an agent who plans to keep the home owner and their house safe if they are let inside. The FEMA Fraud will not get aggravated by the home owner's choices when outside of their door, but will give them a second chance to allow him into their home or not without using bribery, but simple manners. Once inside of the house, if the home owner has three or more other humans in their home, The FEMA Fraud will kill two humans each night. If the home owner has 2 or less humans in their home at night, The FEMA Fraud will kill them in their sleep. If the home owner has only one other human in their home and chooses to execute them, leaving only the home owner and The FEMA Fraud in the house, he will immediately kill the home owner after they decide to shoot the human. Despite having perfectly white teeth and reddened eyes, The FEMA Fraud will refuse to remove their gloves or outfit, making it unable for the home owner to check their fingernails or armpits as The FEMA Fraud states that he must wear his uniform for his own safety. If the home owner chooses to execute The FEMA Agent, he will become hostile, and if the home owner chooses to hear him out, The FEMA Agent will immediately kill the player. However, if The FEMA Agent is shot, a human (chosen at random depending on how many he killed) will return back to where they were after their death.
