Just to preface if you don’t recognise me on your blog, this blog used to be called dreychestle but I changed it as I wanted it to be more related to the Layton series.

So I stoped procrasting and actually dedicated a little time every so often when I was free to write a list of username ideas, and I finally have one I really like! Wooo about time. I have to give credit to the anons that sent asks in though because I loved the idea of it being a pun and it being about Underground London.

Lady Dahlia: Bossy robot clone of Flora’s dead mom. Babies her cat because she secretly misses Flora. 10/10

Granny Riddleton: Is she a robot? Is she psychic? Is she beautiful? Yes- 10/10 

Flora Reinhold: Deserves better, always. Protect her. Cooks bad but she’s adorable so who cares. Just wants to go on adventures and make friends. Layton’s daughter and big sister to Kat. 10/10 

Katia Anderson: Loved by all in Dropstone but not loved enough by the fandom. Finds her grandfather. Makes her grandmother proud. 10/10 

Sophia: Cute af with Anton but had to leave him to save their baby. Started a whole new town. Never got to say goodbye to Anton in person but her message got delivered. 10/10 

Babette: Like Dahlia, she treats her pet like her child. She’s rude to Layton and Luke. Wish I could be that blunt. 10/10 

Claire: Gave Layton his hat and his goal to be a true gentleman. First human to travel through time… unsuccessfully. Smart science lady. She’s literally dying but still doing her best to save everyone, even Bill Hawks and Clive. You still cry every time at her death. 10/10 

Caroline Hawks: Worries about her douchebag husband. Doesn’t like Dimitri’s food. 10/10 

Puzzlette: BEE KILLER and puzzle keeper. Love her beehive hair. Hope to see more of her soon, soon, soon. 10/10 

Emmy Altava: Number one assistant. Layton would be lost without her. I relate to her love of sweets and her phobia of spiders. I’d let her punch me anytime. Bronev’s her uncle but she still chooses Layton and Luke in the end. Level 5, where is she? 10/10 

Arianna Barde: Scary witch girl but still cute. Not really a witch but she can play the flute and she’s friends with a giant blue seal. She’s ill and lonely but still manages to find happiness. 10/10 

Loosha: Taken too soon by Descole. The true hero of Misthallery. She was a good momma manatee to Arianna and Tony. She’s big and blue. 10/10 

Brenda Triton: MOM. Luke’s mother. Always smiling, even after Descole locked her up for like a year. She has the dead mom hairstyle but she’s not dead. Clark’s a lucky man. 10/10 

Marilyn: Fruit pirate girl. She’s adorable but should you really trust her? 10/10 

Wren: The real leader of the Black Ravens. Crow wishes he was this smart. Big sister to Socket. 10/10 

Rosa: Layton’s unofficial mom and Kat’s grandma. Probably spoils Kat. She’s done with Layton’s crap. Thanks for bringing her back Level 5. 10/10 

Janice Quatlane: Queen of the divas. Sings like an angel. Let her dead girlfriend live in her place. Her design is my favourite. 10/10 

Melina Whistler: Died too young but came back from the dead to stop her father and Descole. Why don’t more people remember her? 10/10 

Amelia Ruth: Chess girl. Smartest contestant in the Game of Life. Just wanted to save her grandfather, like Katia. Doesn’t get enough appreciation, like Katia. 10/10 

Nina: Baby girl. Baby. She likes seashells and just wants to go home. Screw Whistler and Descole for taking her. 10/10 

Celia Raidley: Might be related to Lady Dahlia, so she might be a robot. But then why does she want Eternal Life? 10/10 

Annie Dretch: I’ve probably spelt her name wrong. She’s a writer and she hates running. I’ve never related to a character so much. Not sure why she wants Eternal Life but I can’t blame her. 10/10 

Nina’s mom: Another adorable mom. She has a cat who looks exactly like Claudia. Just wants her daughter back. Screw Whistler and Descole. 10/10 

Angela Ledore: My wife. Everyone’s wife. But not really. You wish she was your wife. Probably Desmond’s little sister. She’s an angel. I’d let her push me in a river any day. 10/10 

Lucille Layton: Layton’s official mom and Kat’s official grandma… She panics a lot but it’s just because she loves her family. Why haven’t we seen her meet Kat yet? Explain, Level 5. 10/10 

Aurora: Azran golem girl. Gives up her life for the humans and just wants to be part of their world. 10/10 

Rachel Bronev: Layton’s birth mom who he doesn’t remember but she is still valid. Her ghost haunts Bronev. 10/10 

Dariya Kolum: Reporter lady. Helps Emmy get a job working for the World Times. I hope I’m this awesome when I’m 40. 10/10 

Lucy Baker: THAT’S MY DAUGHTER. My Yorkshire daughter. She’s the real hero of Scotland Yard, saving Alfendi and solving crimes from years ago. Thanks, Level 5, for giving her a second in the anime. Now give her more in Season 2. 2010/10 

Hilda Pertinax: She’s an Interpol agent. That means she facilitates worldwide police cooperation. That’s awesome. Is she German? I think she’s German. 10/10 

Florence Sich: A forensic analyst. What a cool job. She’s got some sort of illness but that doesn’t stop her from working and dealing with Alfendi’s BS. 10/10 

Diane Makepeace: What a witch. 10/10 

Katrielle Layton: The LMJ series didn’t live up to all the hype but hey at least we got Kat and we got to find out where she came from. She loves sweets and fashion and mysteries and she just wants to find her papa, which she does in the end. I’m so happy for her. 10/10 

Emiliana Perfetti: Signora Perfetti. When she’s not flirting with Kat, she’s the top Criminal Analyst at Scotland Yard. I’m still not entirely sure what her job entails but I’m all for seeing these BAMf ladies working at Scotland Yard. 10/10 

Kamilla: Died after giving birth to Kat on a sinking ship. (That’s kind of dark.) She was an archaeologist looking for the relic stones. She greatly resembles Kat. 10/10 

Mayor Lowonida: Business lady who also like festivals. A better replacement for Bill Hawks any day. 10/10 

Liza Wight: Lonely ghost girl. Just wants friends to watch horror movies with. She went to see IT ten times. 10/10 

Madame Doublée: Leader of the dragons. She looks scary but she has a big heart. She loves her pet chameleon just as much as Dalia loves her cat. 

Marina Triton: Probably American. Infiltrates a cult to help save Luke and Layton. Just as valid as any other lady on this list. 10/10

Okay just off the top of my head, what about something like Folsense-Foolery or Stansbury-Stan? I mainly do puns and alliterations haha, so sorry if these aren't quite what you had in mind. I also tried to think of something for the relic stones but nothing came to mind. Hope these help at least to give you better ideas! 😊

And here’s my piece for the @laytonzine! It was such a wonderful opportunity to work on this zine with the others artists (who are great please check what they all do) so I can’t thank the staff enough for being so nice and competent; Professor Layton means so much to me since my childhood that being able to pay it tribute like this is a pleasure, especially the Pandora’s box game who was my very first Layton’s game. I hope you will all enjoy our works for this zine~

Do you have a specific theme you want your new username to fit into? Or something you want to relate it to?

I’m not entirely sure anon ,that’s what’s annoying. I know I want it to be Layton themed but I don’t want it to be themed around specific characters. Maybe using locations from the game would look good, but I’m open for most things to be perfectly fair.
