Conquest & Birthright

It feels so exciting to finally share this one! I've done this piece last year for Fate, Refracted, @fefateszine created for the 10th anniversary of the game's release :D I have lots of good memories related to this game and playing it with friends back when it realeased, so it was great to revisit it after so many years. Thanks for having me!

I had an opportunity to draw my two faves, Gunter and Reina...I'm still obsessed with them after all these years, even if I'm not really active in the fandom I still look for new fics and fanart of them :D (I wish there was more!)

waking up two hours early for my job as a gacha character to put on my three discrete hair ornaments, four layers of clothes, eight-square-inch armor plates affixed to my clothes at random, various ribbons and straps that do nothing but encircle my thighs/upper arms, choker, and multi-layered gloves. however I forget to affix dangling tassles everywhere and am sacked immediately for my carelessness

basically the best thing any character can do is decide they don't want to be afraid anymore - in fact they never want to be afraid of anything ever again - and take action so drastic they fail to realise that this too is a decision motivated by fear. or to account for the Consequences of that.

one thing i love about lori in boston legal is that she's paul's special little girl and she constantly goes to paul and is like i want to do this and paul's like. okay lori bc you're my special little girl. but if literally anybody else he'd be like FUCK OFF and he'd be so right

and also when paul's like "loriiiii will you do this extremely annoying and irritating thing for me pleaaaaase" and lori is like jesus christ. why me. and paul is like "because you're my--" and lori's like NO I KNOW WHY. i'll do it. but for fuck's sake
