#TBT @crossfitunionsquare || 6 months ago, I PRed my 1 rep max squat clean @ 205 lbs. I thought I could PR further so I added a few pounds more. A few minutes later, I injured my wrists and it kept me from lifting heavy and going hard during WODs. Simple movements (for me) such as planks, hand stand push ups and regular push ups became extremely difficult. I tried to rush the weights but then it crushed me - mentally and physically. Today, I’m injury free! This week, I PRed FOUR times plus I can kip my HSPUs. Power snatch @ 130 lbs from 95 lbs* ** Power cleans @ 185 lbs from 135 lbs* ** Push press @ 155 lbs from 125 lbs* ** Front Squat @ 225 lbs x 2 from 225 lbs x 1 with spotter* *Based on my numbers from the Philippines a year ago. **All in one day. And the best part was that it felt easy and I knew I could do more.
