After careful consideration, I've decided I will release a cover of "Black is the Colour of my True Love's Hair." It's an old Scottish/Appalachian folk song, but you guys probably know Nina Simone's rendition the best...I know I do. So I'm paying homage to her and all the other inspirational ladies who have also done covers of this song (Me'shell Ndegeocello and Lauryn Hill to name a couple). And to remain apropos to society, it's only fitting to release such a love song on Valentine's Day :) sooo horray!
