sae itoshi does not like his wife's fangirls pt. 1 pt.2 ✧
sae got this weird feeling when he was on the field. the other time, his wife seemed off about these girls he didn't even know existed.
they were the ones that were screaming his name, the ones who almost interrupted his flow when he was doing his penalty shot.
it sounded like a mosquito was in his ear, buzzing constantly and being an annoyance in general.
but now, he doesn't hear those pests. instead, he hears your name coming out from those girls' mouths.
"[name]-chan, notice me please!!" one of the girls squealed loudly, waving her arms around like she was in trouble, jumping up and down.
the group of girls were seated directly opposite from where you were in the vip section.
you were now confused, tilting your head like a lost puppy.
at half-time, sae couldn't stop staring at you. sure, he was in his team circle, making up some sort of stupid game plan he could do with his eyes closed, but those eyes were just burning into you.
you felt them on you, of course, but your eyes were still on those girls.
why were they cheering for you now and not sae? it was really throwing you off. they even had a sign with your name on it, surrounded with red and pink hearts.
towards the end of the half-time, you decided to wave back at the girls.
and sae notices that.
they start to scream even louder (somehow), leaving you stunned as the buzzer sounds. they hold up hearts with their hands and even blow kisses.
sae also catches that.
during the game, sae plays like a robot, making quick and calculated moves, almost like impressing a specific someone. wink wink.
he ends up scoring two goals, leaving the score at an astonishing 5-1.
it was clear who the winner was when the game ended.
following your usual routine, you slowly gathered your things, thinking sae would speak with the media first.
"wife."
huh?
"sae?"
"no, you say husband."
who was this man?
you turn around, your eyes locking with teal ones, almost glaring.
"um- husband?" you say, blinking at the sudden correction.
"let's go home," he says, holding his hands out, that same nonchalant expression on his face but you could read the random attitude you were picking up in the tone of his voice.
"sure, just meet me by the stairs-"
"no, just get down from here, it's quicker," his response is almost immediate, like he was storing it in his brain.
it was just like hopping a fence, the floor wasn't too far down.
"are you sure? i just-"
"i'll catch you."
"fine."
why was this man being so persistent all of a sudden?
you awkwardly hook a leg over the barrier, grabbing sae's hands, the cool metal of your ring pressed against his palm once again.
he holds you steady as you hop down from the barrier, a little squeak escaping your lips as you land on the grass.
"okay, let's go," you murmur, a little shy because not everyone has left the stadium yet.
he takes note of the way you avoid eye contact with anyone. he sighs, wrapping an arm around your waist, pressing a kiss to your temple as he guides you to the exit.
as you both leave, the girls just sit there, eyes narrowed at sae.
"they're such a power couple."
"i know right? they're both hot and possessive of each other."
"next time, let's make a sign with both of them on it."
"amazing idea."
a/n: thank you @number1goonerofsae for this beautiful idea
