Genuinely so fucking funny to me that Revy is like my height. 165cm. I would be at eye level with her. And people like to draw her as this super buff dommy muscle mommy that's bigger than Rock, which is their right and I don't think people should stop, but in canon she is average height, probably lean as hell and a bit underweight. Her diet consists solely of cigarettes, rum, cold pizza and takeaway pad thai some weeks. Like yeah, she should reasonably have a much more defined core that she is typically portrayed to and certainly isn't unathletic by any means, but she's a functioning alcoholic and 5'4". She's more acrobatic and dexterous than muscular and strong.

Balalaika on the other hand is like around 6'2" from memory, is a former Olympian and member of the military and is shown to be able to pick people up with ease. If anyone is a 'muscle mommy' out of the Black Lagoon cast, it's her.

Thinking about how dumb of a decision it was to have Balalaika join the military in 1984 specifically. Like for starters, she wouldn't have been able to compete in the 1984 Summer Olympics anyway, since the USSR boycotted them in response to the US boycott of the 1980 Sunmer Olympics in Moscow. So it'd make more sense if she decided to join the VDV in 1979 or 1980 when the war started and preparations for the Moscow Olympics would've been underway, as this would better explain her rank, her experience and the weird feelings of regret she is implied to have about not having competed.

This also has the weird effect of putting her around the age of twenty-nine to thirty around the events of the series, since she would've been at least 18 to be able to join, and would've done so as soon as she could, which is pretty weird. And not only that, it means she only served in the VDV for FIVE YEARS. I'm sorry but HOW did she climb in the ranks SO fast in FIVE fucking years that she was Capitan in 1989 by the time she was dishonourably discharged???? She would've been moving like a fucking CoD no-scope compilation in Afghanistan to get promoted THAT many times in such a short amount of time. And since she did to regain her father's honour, she wouldn't have nepotism on her side, either. It's much more realistic if she joined 4 or 5 years prior, as this would give her significantly more experience and time to earn that rank.

Also I like the idea of her being 35 or older because I'm a pervert who loves older women.

I genuinely will never understand the beef some fans of Hellsing & Castlevania have with each other, which is mostly shown on tiktok. What even is the point? Everytime i check comment sections to get an opinion on proper explaining of the situation its just some people talking about "which alucard is better" etc.

Has to be one of the most pointless debates because why are we comparing Dracula (alucard from hellsing) and Dracula's son (castlevania) who literally arent even 100% similar in any way. Both of them have their own good elements and can be enjoyed as a character without meaningless debates that lead to the fandoms having a bad image.
