my common sense: so what are you gonna do when you reach your ugw?
me: i'll just eat normally and be normal :)

why do some ppl on edtumblr act like restricting is the only ed behaviour that exist?? like.. people binge too and there's no need to shame people for that. eating disorders are ILLNESSES and binging is a symptom. it's not a choice, and I'm sick of hearing people say shit like "well you binged so it's your fault". that's wrong. you cannot simply "choose not to binge", it's a mental illness. stop being rude and let people vent about their binges in peace, damn it

whish they told us this in school, all they did was say “feel for lumps, you will know when you feel it”
I’m not even sure what it’s really supposed to feel like 😕 🥲 education system has failed us all
My mom has had breast cancer twice and we have a familial genetic marker known as BRCA2. I have known about these signs and symptoms to watch for since I was 6. So watch and feel and be proactive! Because you know your body better than anyone else!
And for anyone that has never been told what to feel for: My mom always said if you feel anything that feels like a frozen pea(depending on size of course) that wasn’t there before to get it checked out ASAP. Don’t ignore the things that are scary, they only create more issues down the road. If my aunt hadn’t ignored it when she first found her tumor, she might still be here today.
Be Proactive. Get checked. Check yourself.
AND PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE ANYTHING YOU FEEL IS WRONG.
