Emily Brontë — Wuthering Heights
King shit 🤷
This is absolutely something both Charlie and Matt would do, and I am fucking living for it.
And you know Charlie was like ‘OH, OH, OH YES, I GET TO DO THE FUN STUNTS AGAIN, I AM SO READY, LET ME - I CAN FLIP, LOOK, GUYS, LOOK, WHAT IF MATT *casually does wild backflip off a building*’
writing and having no one to share it with. i am unwell
"We live in deeds, not years;
in thoughts, not breaths;
in feelings, not figures on a dial.
We should count time by heart-throbs.
...The dead have all the glory of the world.
Why will we live and not be glorious?
We can never be deathless till we die."
-Festus excerpt, Philip Bailey
i will never recover from The Astronaut by Jin because i love astronomy and i love Jin
fuck yeah it’s about damn time
!!!!!!!
I think about the BTS Run MV aesthetic every day
it’s always “are you okay?” and never “lets go stargazing”
IM BEGGING WHY DIES NOBODY WANT TO GO STARGAZING WITH ME??? THINK OF ALL THE MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS???
attempting to bake my first loaf of bread and living my cottagecore peasant life

LAMENT
Rainer Maria Rilke
Translated by C. F. Macintyre
Oh, everything is far
and long ago.
I believe that star these thousand years is dead,
though I still see its light.
I believe, in that boat
passing though the night
something fearful was said.
In the house a clock
struck . . .
Where did it strike? . . .
I would like to walk
out of my heart
under the wide sky.
I would like to pray.
One of all these stars
must still exist.
I believe I know
which one
still lasts
and stands like a city, white
in the sky at the end of the beam of light . . .
one of those poems where it rests somewhere in my soul and i need to take a moment to process life and what i just read. i can't believe i didn't realize this was by Rilke
"The nearest friend can go
With anyone to death, come so far short
They might as well not try to go at all.
No, from the time when one is sick to death,
One is alone, and he died more alone.
Friends make pretense of following to the grave,
But before one is in it, their minds are turned
And making the best of their way back to life
And living people, and things they understand."
-Robert Frost, home burial
"Don't— don't go.
Don't carry it to someone else this time.
Tell me about it if it's something human.
let me into your grief.
-Robert Frost, home burial
"I've felt mean lately; mean's no name for it.
I just found what the matter was tonight:
I've been a-choking like a nursery tree
When it outgrows the wire band of it's name tag."
-A Hundred Collars, Robert Frost
i know Frost meant this in a more literally sense: the man actually needed to go up a shirt size, but i couldn't help reading this in a more metaphysical or emotional way. i feel like I've been choking inside myself, like a nursery tree outgrowing the wire wrapped around it. i had to stop for a moment while reading.
Jennifer really puts into perspective how unhinged Matt is 😂

THIS IS LEGIT WHAT I WAS THINKING
I HAD TO PAUSE BECAUSE I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD
Then she goes right into superheroes being billionaires and/or adult orphans and I died all over again
