the marauders fandom genuinely baffles me because IN CANON they are not cute funny silly gay wizards from the ‘70s, they’re bigoted bullies and would beat the fuck out of the fanon marauders. jk rowling is a horrible person with sexist, racist, homophobic, fatphobic and all the other -phobic sentiments and that is reflected on every one of her characters. i love the books for their creativity and nostalgia but the characters are not really good people and jk rowling certainly isn’t. i love that yall are trying to spite her by headcanoning her characters as gay or trans, but sirius, lupin, james, etc and even harry and ron by some extent (and ESPECIALLY draco) are not the sweet gay boys we’re pretending they are. rowling wrote the books from harry’s perspective, so all the racism, bigotry, sexism etc in the books ARE HARRY’S CANON OPINIONS. i do love the story and consume it on dvds and books from the thrift store. please do not support rowling’s harmful sentiments by pretending she wrote these characters to represent minorities, thank you!

**ps this is not to hate on people who write these characters as gay/trans etc, obviously jk rowling gets nothing monetarily from fanfic and fanart, this is js me yapping about how rowling is lowkey a horrible person and we shouldn’t forget about that just because the fans have created a ‘better’ or ‘more woke’ harry potter universe
