Does How You Take CBD Oil Matter?
CBD products work best when taken in a capsule or pill form for a slower and longer lasting effect. If you require faster pain relief then CBD-infused oil tinctures are recommended. Topical products like lotions and roll-ons are applied directly to your skin for example the area around your knees or elbows. Once applied your skin will absorb the CBD and target a specific area for relief.
The Type of CBD Product Can Matter:
- CBD isolate (purest form) - Full-spectrum CBD oil (below 0.3 THC) - Broad-spectrum CBD oil (THC free)
How do you know how much to use?
If you are new to using CBD products then it is recommended you start with small does until your body gets used to it. If pain still continues, gradually increase the dosage until you find the right comfort level. Monitor your dosage, any side effects and any improvements to see if the CBD is helping or not.
The CDC warns: Do not smoke or vape anything as this can harm your lungs. and has been linked with a recent lung disease epidemic.

An Iowa Chocolate Dream
In the early days of home-schooling her 4 children, Mattie Hershberger began to dream about a home based business in which each family member could contribute their unique skills and talents to the success of the business. This dream became reality in 2009 when she started creating hand-made chocolates in a certified kitchen in the basement of her parents' home. Her husband, Lyndon Hershberger, managed the small business and enabled it to outgrow the basement kitchen! The business moved to its new location in downtown Kalona, Iowa. This gave Kalona Chocolates a much bigger kitchen and a store front. Now Lyndon & Mattie work together to produce a variety of chocolate confections and sell them through their store and wholesale accounts. From Metal Fabricator to Remanufacturing Revolutionary
Tygart Industries is a unique story of manufacturing evolution. They started business in 1994 as a metal fabrication shop in Southwest Pennsylvania. Today they have grown into a diversified manufacturing center offering machining, tube bending, parts cleaning and the point of this article remanufacturing.
How it Started
After starting as metal fabrication company, they realized they needed to add machining services to be competitive. Next came the parts cleaning business and their customer base expanded again. One day a large OEM had requested a quote to “Clean and Repaint” a valve component used on train locomotives. After receiving and processing the order, Tygart approached the OEM and said, we noticed you are scrapping these additional parts, we could machine and fabricate the existing units back to new condition for less than you are buying new ones. This started an entirely new business called “OEM Remanufacturing Services”.
Everything Comes Together
Basically, it utilizes all the capabilities and equipment Tygart already had and brought them together to form a new service. Remanufacturing is essential disassembling an OEM’s part or component into smaller uniform parts, they can be evaluated, (these parts can be repaired or fabricated and machined to new specifications) the parts can then be industrially cleaned, stripped of paint or coatings, painted or powder coated, reassembled, and shipped back to the OEM. It’s a big cost savings to the OEM on two fronts. One, they are more cost effective then replacing units with new ones and Two, the dirt, grime and surface coatings can all be processed outside of their main manufacturing facility, keeping it clean and focused on manufacturing new components.
Remanufacturing = Cost Reduction & A Greener Solution
Remanufacturing is not only cost effective but a greener solution to scrapping usable parts by rebuilding new units from old parts that are brought back to spec with machining, tube bending and fabrication. This is less scrap waste to dispose of and managing a company’s supply chain efficiently. Today Tygart is a thriving company through their insight to adapt their business model and find new ways to serve their customers, while growing at the same time. Tygart Remanufacturing Web Site
The Benefits of Zinc Die Casting Made in the USA
Supply Chain Disruptions and Delivery Cost
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, many of the manufactured goods from the two leading global manufacturing countries were not able to make it to the United States because of manufacturing and logistical supply chain disruptions. Alternatively, Deco Products, as an essential manufacturer, was able to continue with manufacturing and shipments through 2020. After parts are manufactured, overseas shipping can be very unpredictable and costly. There can be stress due to importing parts with layers of uncertainty, whereas USA logistics are much simpler and reliable. American companies who purchase parts made by American manufacturing companies have significantly lower shipping costs. Freight shipments from China and India via sea freight and air freight have significantly higher costs (before tariffs). Lead-times are also excessive, anywhere from 30-90+ days. Domestic shipments are much quicker, taking anywhere from 1-5 days, and cost much less because of the shorter shipping distance and proven carriers.
Shorter Lead Times and American Customer Service
American manufacturing can save time on production and shipping, meaning that you can increase your chances for customer satisfaction. Another benefit of a shorter lead time is that companies do not need to keep large storages of inventory on hand, which also carries a large cost. Purchasing American manufactured parts means American customer service. With American customer service there is usually much less of a disconnect because time zones and understanding of regional issues are similar. Often there is also a language barrier where misunderstandings can occur. Environmentally Friendly and Community Focused
USA Manufacturing
American manufacturing is often community and environmentally focused on similar issues as your company. Purchasing parts made by local manufacturers keeps money in the local communities through employee payroll, income taxes, and donations. By purchasing from American manufacturing companies, the focus remains local. Local companies have a stake in local environmental concern and adhere to good environmental practices and sustainability. Zinc die casting is one of the most sustainable die casting practices because of zinc’s low melting temperature in manufacturing and zinc’s ability to be 100% recyclable. Deco Products is proud to be the largest standalone zinc die casting company in North America. The last 12 months have demonstrated the many flaws with overseas manufacturing, and the benefits of American manufacturing. Deco Products has been a reliable “Made in USA” zinc die cast manufacturer since 1960. Deco Products provides exceptional service and quality products for a multitude of industries. A few services Deco Products provides are custom precision engineered zinc die-casting, powder coating, assembly, CNC Machining, and DFM-Part Design. Deco has been a stable and reliable supplier to the industry and continuously strives for being the best value for its key partner/customers.
