Due to high request here is the next tutorial! This time for an improved version of my Peridot wig!
This is what you will need:
> Got2Be Hairglue (the yellow one)
> blowdryer
> 1 platinum blonde lace front wig
> more wig wefts/fibers/another wig (you will need quite some hair)
> cardboard
> foam mats (preferred from a yoga mat, they are softer than EVA foam)
> scissors, bobby pins, needle & thread, a wig head, etc..Ā
The base wig! Preferred a lace front one. So soft and pretty. Nearly too pretty but LETāS GET REKKED.
First prepare your foam base.
Cut out the pattern out of cardboard first - that way you can experiment to find the perfect shape for your head without wasting foam.
Left is the front and right the back.
Once you found the perfect shape - (hot) glue them together!
Tipp: See those long tips down the jaw? Bend them with a heat gun to perfectly match your jawline. This way the whole wig will hide your ears and frame your face.
Then glue the wig fiber/wefts onto the foam base so that none of the material will peak through the hair in the final wig. You can also paint it to make extra sure!
Before adding the base to your wig sew in some wefts to the top of the wig to give it more volume. Add long wefts in the back - long enough to go all up to the tip.
Now to add it to your wig. This will be a bit tricky but YOU CAN DO IT FOR HER.
Once you are content with the position of the base - glue or sew it down. You will see this is quite comfortable to wear, actually.
Cut the top hair shorter and tease it A LOT.Ā
Tipp: Got2Be & a blowdryer make EVERYTHING defy gravity.
Itās getting interesting! Weāre defying more gravity now. Comb all the hair over the base and SPRAY SPRAY SPRRAAAAYYYY. Also cut now and then for a perfect shape.. AND SPRAY.
You can glue on some spots as well. Like the tip.
If all goes well this is how the hair shall look in the end!
