Patrick Chan to choose between retirement, Olympic run after Worlds

For Canada’s sake I hope he keeps going. He might not be able to win without a large number of quads, but unless Nam Nguyen makes major strides he’s still Canada’s best man.

I just think that Patrick needs to forget about the way men’s skating was between 2011 to 2014 and re-focus. I think he’s too fixated on the fact that he won multiple world championships with lesser technical content. 

I just don’t think that Patrick is going to get the results he wants until he lets go of the past and grabs the future with both hands and says, ‘you know what bitches, this is what I have to do to win now and I’m fully going for it’.
