Does it ever hit you that Hope Solo was treated like crap as a young player (and famously kicked off the team for a short period) and that in the same way that a once sad person will help to make someone not feel what they felt, Hope Solo has made sure that the young players on the team have her love & support from day one. And how newly converted LB Kelley O’Hara said about Hope: “Thanks for believing in me first” Has anyone else thought of this? Yes? No? I’ll go cry in a corner now.
