Announcement for The Determined Podcast!

I know you probably won't, but is there a chance that you will do a sprite comic of Undertale PaperStory in the future so we can have a more visual representation? In my opinion, the write up doesn't have enough pictures. Other than that, this is a wonderful AU!

Oh, thank you for your kind words!

However, as for making a sprite comic... The reason it was a write up and not a sprite comic was because I did not think it felt right to essentially make a sprite comic that mostly retold Undertale’s beats. Despite the partners, I didn’t really think they could change the story enough.

Though with the benefit of hinsight, I’d probably have changed up the story a bit- honestly, I had a lot of ideas after playing The Origami King- and added a few more sprite comic pictures to demonstrate the enviroments and characters better, but I don’t really think I have the energy of doing something like a re-write up unless I put a small team together, or give out ownership (which i will not do).

I did have some ideas for a sequel, with a more TTYD-esque setting, in an island, with a human partner, something involving the followers, but I ultimately dropped the idea when I began work on Omega Timeline: Poppy’s Story- which, speaking of, Paper Frisk does hang out in there every once in a while.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m ultimately proud that I managed to finish this AU in less than a year, even if it wasn’t that impressive to most. I’m happy with all the art I made for the characters, the partners’ designs, that Undertoad crossover comic (which eventually landed me a spot in the team). I just think I could’ve done it better, y’know.

That being said, no, a sprite comic isn’t going to happen.

I would like to formerly unveil… Undertale: AU Showdown!

Hey, read your AU thing, and trust me it's really good, but if the partners where to have came in at the end of the Asgore fight (poor Goat Dad...) do you think they could've helped against Omega/Photoshop Flowey?

I wagered that for photoshop flowey, it’d be Paper only, considering Flowey kinda traps Frisk in a little void in UT.
