RP HOOKS ––– –
Criminal for Hire: Nezh'a is always open to discuss work with a potential employer, so long as it won’t interfere with his work for the Yomi no Fuji. If the pay is good enough however… Well, there’s always wiggle room. If it involves getting something for you that currently belongs to somebody else, he’s your guy! If you want something out of a place that’s dangerous to go into, he’s willing! If you want somebody dead, ask his boss!
Rambunctious Flirt: Nezh'a flirts compulsively, to the point that he doesn’t even have to be interested in a person to flirt with them. Obviously, this can, and does, tend to land him in trouble, but nothing short of death will stop him from dropping a sweet word or two… Or ten.
Former Member of the Thieves Guild: Growing up, Nezh'a was taken in by the Thieves Guild in Limsa Lominsa, where he learned all of his skills. There is a very good chance anyone else who has ever associated with the guild could have had a run in with Nezh'a.
Victim: Alas, what is a criminal without their victims? For Nezh'a to successfully perform his work as a thief, there are those who have found their pockets lighter. Flashy as he likes to be, they likely know his face, as well. He has plenty of enemies, especially in Ul'Dah, where he sees the wealthy elite’s fortunes as prizes waiting for him to come and take.
Gambler: Nezh'a spends plenty of time in the Gold Saucer, both for the games that hold his attention, and the abundance of rich folk being loose with their gil. Keep an eye out, and you’ll likely spot him watching people… When he’s not invested in the very same games himself. Additionally, for Nezh'a, gambling is not only a hobby, it’s a code he lives by. Make sure to always tell him the odds, especially if you want to make him do something. The higher the risk, the higher the reward.
Strong Aether: Nezh'a has fairly strong aether, which has made him a target on more than one occasion. Sadly, he has no idea how to utilize this outside of the use of aetheryte crystals. If anyone could put up with him long enough to teach him, perhaps he could even learn to use magic.
Yomi no Fuji: The latest addition to his repertoire, Yomi no Fuji is an organization that took on Nezh'a’s debts after he ran afoul of the Thieves Guild. A complete misunderstanding, mind you. He now works for the organization run out of Shirogane, not only putting his sticky fingers to use, but now blades, as well. Whether a member of a rival gang or somebody looking to do business, Nezh'a can set you up with his bosses, who will decide whether he’s the right member for the job.
WHAT I’M SEEKING ––– –
CRIMES: Whether it’s an employer, a victim, or a new friend, I’m hoping to get some more interaction for Nezh'a as I transition to using him as my main RP character. Let’s do crimes! Together!
In-Game RP: I’m trying to get back into the hang of RPing in game. This doesn’t mean I’m against Tumblr or Discord RP, but if we can do it in game, I would much prefer it! On that same note, I’ll always have Nezh'a open for walkups when IC, so if you see him out and about, come say hi!
CONTACT INFORMATION ––– –
Contact via Tumblr. Discord available on request. If you don’t see him online in game, I’m probably on my main, Uulii Kagon!
I set up a new RP blog specifically for Nezh’a, independent from this one. Here be his lfrp! Please give the boy some lub! I’m gonna be trying to spend more time in game as him, and would love more people to RP with. <3

Prompt #5: Matter of Fact
Uulii sat with her head in her arms as her instructor prattled on about some subject she had stopped listening to. She likely already read about it anyways, and they were always so cold, unemotional, and matter of fact in their lectures that she had to do everything in her power to not just sleep through it. It wasn't that she didn't like learning, or that she didn't care about the subject. It was just the way that they presented it that made her want to run out and find some tree to read under. Something she could study, hands on. Some. . . Office to break into. Was his office unlocked? She sat up, peering down at the door, usually kept closed during session like this, now left precariously open. There was too many people between her and there, as well as the instructor himself. Maybe, just maybe, if she waited until everyone was leaving, she could buy just enough time to slip into and out of the room as they were funneling out. If she could just grab one of the books they keep locked away, maybe then - “Miss Kagon?” Her instructors voice chimed in. Snapping out of her thoughts, she realized that he had moved from where he was in front of the door, which he was now closing. “I thought that might get your attention. You know, your other instructors have told me the sort of antics you get up to. So let me just tel you...” Uulii faded his voice out again. God, even his attempts at scolding sounded like they were coming out of a textbook. “... So maybe if you pay attention, I'd be willing to let you pick from any of the books locked away in there.” That... Caught her attention. “Good. Now then.” He said, and resumed his lecture, as a few others laughed while her eyes narrowed, upset that she got baited in so easily in the end. But... It was too good to be true. She knew it.
She would just come back later with her lockpicks.
Prompt #4: Clinch
“I'm telling you, there's nothing.” Uulii said, lying flat on the floor, face covered. “I've searched far and wide, and I can't find out anything about these damn beavers!”
With a small laugh, Urianger chimed in from the table where he was reading. “Well, mine friend. Perhaps you should be looking not far and wide, but close and near. After all, though art in a library, are you not?” As he spoke, he rose to his feet, moving over to Uulii and offering a hand, which she accepted. Looking about, she gave a defeated shrug.
“I... Well, I suppose, but what are the odds the answers are in here, when not even the pixies could give me a straight answer?” As she spoke, she looked back to her friend. “Besides, aren't most of these older? Would they even have the information?”
With a quirked brow, Urianger responded. “Now, this is a sight not wont to be seen with you. So focused on a simple beaver, you forsake the chance to read. Is it truly that much of a hindrance to you?” A defeated not was his only response, prompting yet another answer. “Well, then why not, for brevity's sake, ask for help from a friend? Especially one more than willing to lend their aid.” With a soft smile, he walked to the nearby shelf, pulled a random book, and began to read. “Now, if thee wish for more excitement, we can clinch an agreement of sorts. If I find the information before thee, a favor is owed.”
Uulii, having sat there and listened, now was the one with a quirked brow. “Oh? Then I take it if I win, the deal is reversed?” A nod from Urianger noted his approval. “Very well.” She said with a smile. “The deal is clinched.”
Prompt #3: Muster
This was it, today was the day. Uulii had mustered all the courage she possibly could, but it wasn't going to make this any easier. With a light slap on her cheeks, she walked out into the family room, where her parents and brother were, cheeks puffed in defiance and ready to fight. As her father saw her walking towards them, he had to stifle a small laugh. When her mother turned to see why, Uulii was already right there, looking up at her with the most serious face. “Yes, my little shadow?” Her mother asked. “Is something wrong?”
With a curt nod of her head, Uulii exhaled, crossing her arms. “Mum. Dad. I have something important I have to tell you.” As she spoke, her gaze drifted over to her father, still trying not to laugh, and her face soured. “It is very serious.” “Yes, little one, what is it?” Her mother's voice came again. “I'm sorry. Yes, tell us.” Chimed in her father.
This was it, the moment she had built up all that courage for. The thing she desperately wanted to tell them, her father especially. With another small slap on the cheeks, she blurted out the confession. “I haven't been eating my archon loaf! I've been feeding it to the fish in the pond!”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With a start, Uulii's eye's shot open, brow immediately furrowing upon awakening. With a couple of blinks, she looked to her partner, sleeping silently beside her, and gave her head a shake. What an odd dream. Memory, even. Standing up, she made her way to the kitchen to get some water, and looked out at the sky as she did so. Not long ago, she was in another world. A place where, for quite some time, if she looked outside at this time of night, it would look like the brightest afternoon. If their friend had not arrived, and mustered them together, she might as well have still been there. She didn't quite like that thought. Chugging down the last of her water, she returned to bed, hoping that the disgusting loaf would not haunt her dreams again.
Prompt #2 Sway
Nezh'a laid in a cot, staring at the ceiling. There wasn't much else to do on this ship. When he arrived in the bay, he took the first one heading for Limsa, without much a care of who was on it. Oh, how he regretted that choice now. There was only so many times he could listen to the old man tell the story about the giant crab and remain polite, and that number was starting to thin. He closed his eyes, rubbing the bridge of his nose and letting out a long sigh.
“Damn it, get out...” He muttered. “I don't want you in my head any longer. You gave up your spot there so... Why won't you just leave?” Another sigh, and he tried his best to drift off to sleep; a task hard enough for him already, made harder by his current situation. He had found ways to make it work, though. The creaking of the wood as the ship swayed back and forth on the waves had become his lullaby. He had made it a habit to try and count the waves as they hit,but it didn't do nearly as well. As his eyelids fluttered and eventually closed, the same image popped into his mind. Those eyes. That soft smile. He rolled over and buried his face in the pillow. Why wouldn't it go away? Why did it go in the first place?
Prompt #1: Crux
Uulii sat up in the canopy of a tree, looking down at the creature waddling about in the flowers below. It had been a few days since she arrived here, and even less since she managed to finally win the game and convince the locals to tell her about it. Supposedly, it was the most mysterious, most unknown creature in the land. Yet, as she sat in the tree watching it, the look of disappointment could not be greater. Here she was, living the dream of all who studied beastkin. An entire new world full of creatures never seen of Eorzea, and yet... This creature. Of all things. Was the most mysterious.
A beaver.
Sighing, she threw her head back, staring up to the sky, happy for the lack of eternal brightness that previously had adorned it. If she wanted to finish her research, she needed to take as many notes as possible, about as many creatures as possible. Yet, here she was, facing her crux, and it was a gods damned beaver. She didn't understand anything about it. Why was it supposedly so mysterious? Why did nobody know anything about it? Was it another of the pixies pranks? It couldn't be, not with those expressions. Returning to her normal sitting position, she prepared to finish at least the drawing of it, but never got to that. Looking back to her notebook, she saw it sitting there, on her book. She had a thousands thoughts racing through her head, but the one that made it out first was the yelp of surprise, followed by the loss of balance. As she landed with a small thud in the flowerbed, she watched at the beaver hopped out of the tree, her notes in hand, and scurried off. Before she even could sit up, the little bugger was out of sight, long gone from the area.
Of all creatures, this was going to be her crux. A gods damned beaver.
