Congratulations to Mr. Gilbert Zhou for getting admitted to his Master's Program in Financial Statistics and Risk Management at Rutgers University! Gilbert has also been chosen by our chapter as Brother of the Month for April 2015! Hear what Lambdas are saying about Gilbert:
"Quick as a monkey, Gilbert is one of the best basketball players in our current active house. His agility and accuracy gives him an advantage over many people. Without a doubt, a great athlete and an exemplary student we should all strive to be."
"Gilbert is very easygoing yet hardworking. His enthusiasm and pride for Lambdas is easily displayed through his vast collection of accolades."
"Many may think Gilbert as shy or quiet but he is extremely entertaining and humorous. It was only a matter of time before we got to see his fun side and we are always joyful to have his presence."

Since its inception at the University of Washington in 1999, Lambda Phi Epsilon has viewed step as a rite of passage for new members to encourage unity and fellowship [4]. This process allows joining together of Asian Americans as well as other Asian ethnicities from all over the world. Gilbert Zhou is a sophomore that joined the fraternity this year, and he is an international student from China. When asked how step has made him feel like part of the community, he said, āNot once has anyone [from Lambda Phi Epsilon] made me feel like I didnāt belong here. Step let me feel like part of the group. My parents in China donāt even know what stepping isāit isnāt something from my country.ā
Congratulations to Mr. Peter Tong of Alpha Beta Class for being chosen by our chapter as Brother of the Month for March 2015! Hear what Lambdas are saying about Peter:
"Even though he crossed very recently, Peter has shown his love and passion for Lambdas through his active participation. He always attends each event and gives 110%. I am not at all surprised that he received it as he well deserves it."
"Peter is like a super soldier. He excels at basketball and always lends a hand to anyone in need. Despite his bulky appearance, he is also one of the most friendly people I know. Great job Peter!"
"Peter has definitely stepped up as he currently has four positions in the house. His love for Lambdas is conveyed through his hard work and dedication. He is pivotal to us and we are very lucky to have him in our brotherhood."
