I was almost too tired to continue this tonight after a long work day, but I kept thinking about it, and I got my tea here with me (literally, I've got a cup of tea) plus the playlist I made for Money on Spotify, so let's go!
Oh man, they'd be fighting before HND can even finish that chuckle. MaM Red would be snapping at him so quick it's not even funny. Like, snarling about what the fuck does he think is so funny? For someone in his position, he shouldn't be laughing like a damned chucklefuck idiot, or something like that. They're super cooked.
I wonder if HND Red would be nervous around MaM Edge or not cause of the way he interacts with MaM Red. I think if he did, MaM Edge might avoid him a little bit, but every so often look over at him as if checking in. He wouldn't be able to help it because HND Red has his older brother's face, and he loves his brother more than anything.
Oh man, I just realized that both Edges have a cat named Doomfanger! MaM Edge would definitely say something like well, of course they do because great minds always think alike, so it makes sense that they would pick the same name. MaM Edge would also definitely mention he has two more cats named Toby and Jangles that he got from MaM Red as gifts, with MaM Red grumbling that it was his worst mistake ever, but Edge just huffs and tells him it's not his babies' fault if he leaves his bedroom door and they get in and use the shit he keeps on the floor as toys or beds. He also has pictures on his phone of all his cats, like a true cat dad.
LOL, poor Lissa, she'd probably turn purple as she starts to wonder if MaM Edge does have that kink, then mention without thinking that she doesn't own any lingerie since changing into a skeleton. She wouldn't have felt comfortable in any before now, and she's wondering if she should get some. Then realizes what she's saying and tries to laugh it off, especially when HND Edge chimes in cause she CAN'T let him know what she was just thinking about her own Edge.
Hoo, I can just see the sneer on MaM Black's face the second he sees HND Blue, and likely if he gets too close, not even greet him, but instead snap as he asked him, "ANOTHER ONE? ARE YOU ALSO A LYING, MANIPULATIVE RUNTY ASSHOLE, TOO?" and if MaM Blue hears that will reply as he always will, "BLACK, WE'RE THE SAME HEIGHT, IF I'M A RUNT, YOU'RE A RUNT, TOO!" And then there's a yelling match, but if Berry and HND Black are there, MaM Black might just scoff it off because he wouldn't want to put off his good company, but MaM Blue will hear about this later lol.
Oh, don't worry, Skulls, most people just laugh uncomfortably when they start fighting. It's so awkward and childish to witness. I can also see MaM Papyrus noticing Skulls admiring him while the two are in the air, telling him to put them down and grin before winking at her cheekily, then putting them down before scolding them again. He'll get the shirt, though and make them wear it if Skulls wants to see it.
Yes! The three become overnight besties, and I'm living for it, and no one quite knows how it happened, but they're chummy, and that's all she wrote. Also, Lissa is pretty short (in my head anyway lol, she can be whatever height people want her to be), like she's 4'9" - 4'11" or something, so I'm pretty sure Berry might actually get to be taller than someone for once. She's probably the perfect height for some of the taller ones to prop themselves up on her skull, which she'd likely let some of them do. She'd definitely let Orange.
I just have this adorable image of them sitting outside or in a quiet room, just the two of them, and roleplaying this out. I can see her still having her phone from her own dimension on her, and it doesn't have service since it's a different dimension, but she can still access her photos and, after a while, show him that photo of her and MaM Edge they had taken during the detour. She'd laugh and explain that MaM Red had meddled by getting the two of them to drive home alone from a vacation together, so to mess with him, they'd gone on detours, leaving him to deal with MaM Money and Taffy's fomo. Then get quiet saying this is probably when she first noticed she was feeling a bit differently toward him. Also, oh no, a genuine compliment! That will have her surprised and floundering a little bit before turning bright purple. She's not used to being told she's nice or brave; she's so used to her mother putting her down, making her feel ugly, which she might mention offhandedly, but thank him for saying that; it made her feel really good inside.
Lissa would grin and say that MaM Edge is pretty amazing. He works very hard, and even though things haven't always been fair to him, mentioning that he's been fired from a few chef jobs because of the way he looks, he hasn't given up because he loves what he does. She'd reassure him that he still has a Head Chef position and is valued where he works, finally, but the fact that he holds himself to a certain standard and also holds others to the same, but never beyond what they can manage, is amazing. He pushes her to be better in a good way. She'd tell HND Edge that she can see the same qualities in him, too. That there's a kindness inside him that maybe people don't always appreciate or let him show it, and that Skulls definitely can see it, she sounds smart. Lissa definitely sees it, and she thinks it's good to not give up. Show her you care and that she's worth waiting for.
Ahhhh, they're the cutest besties, Lissa and Orange, I'm obsessed! Also, don't worry, Orange, Lissa won't let anyone pick on you lol. She can throw it back as good as she gets it; her sass knows zero limits, so bring it on.
I'm dying for this garden walk and can just see Lissa chiming in after Mutt to say, "Yeah, we're not done! Sheesh, the audacity." She's got a teasing tone, but will also then encourage Mutt to continue telling her about the flowers. She loves flowers so much and adores learning as much as she can about them, so she's listening earnestly.
Omg, Lissa might get the starry eye-lights at HND Sans offering to take her out stargazing. She'd be SUPER enthusiastic with her yes and thank you, then ask if she can take notes. She wants to learn and remember for MaM Sans, so when she gets back, she can surprise him. She'd laugh a little and mention that she always loves listening to MaM Sans explain things to her and that she'd snuck into one of his lectures at the University where he's an Astronomy Professor and that she'd almost wanted to sign up for the class just so she could listen to him talk about space more. She bets HND Sans is similar since he has the same calming vibes her Sans has, so she's really looking forward to this!
MaM Sans is glad he could help, saying he'll make sure she can surprise him, and that he doesn't know who Error or Ink are, but if she trusts them, then he can give it a try too. He'll try to relax after this since Skulls seems so certain.
Yes, the picnic must occur. Sparrow would cook everything, get it all packaged up, and the three of them would go out to a nice park where they would sit out, each and have a fun chit-chat! Bear doesn't mind a little dark humour every now and then! He might make a dirty joke that gets Sparrow sighing and him laughing at his brother's irritation.
It's what they do over their morning coffee! They sit and have a question off and it's a grand ol' time! MaM Sans would answer her questions as best he could as follows:
"yeah, each monster's magic feels different; we call it a magical signature. it's harder for humans to feel, but if you concentrate, you'll find it. monsters here talk to each other a lot through their magical signature. we can push our emotions through our magic to the other if we want to. think of it like a living entity inside our bodies that our soul controls, that's the easiest way to put it. it's both a part of us but also separate. it's simple, yet complicated, heh. uh and yeah, our magic tastes different and we each smell different."
"oh, vi's competitive and he likes to be challenged, but he loves the rules. being a lawyer gives him all three, at least that's what he told me." (Vi and Sans are very good friends)

And he'd be surprised about the hug, but still takes it. MaM Sans likes a good hug, but if she picks him up, he will ragdoll; it's his go-to move. He'd also tell her that it's up to her if she wants him to do it or not, but if she trusts him even somewhat, it won't feel super gross, but it still won't be amazing. Kind of a toss-up, but he'll do it if she wants him to; he doesn't mind. LOL I also didn't realize, I could just see them in my mind being around, but damn, you're right, that's so perfect!
Poor Stretch would probably fluster immediately at the flirt and turn bright orange while rubbing the back of his neck, but he's still really glad he could help! He's also fine moving on before it gets mushy and would offer to play a video game with her or something. They have a crap ton of gaming consoles in this house as well as pretty good computers, so he's up for whatever.
Money would just dramatically grasp at where his heart would be at her playing into what MaM Edge is saying and gasp out, "no, your poor innocent, angelic, virgin ears! what have i done! edgy come purify us both with your purification juices!" to which MaM Edge just deadpans and tells him he hates him and leaves. Oh, it'll be pure chaos with The Idiots and telling Wolf that MaM Money is being too much will have him either smacking the back of MaM Money's skull, dragging him away by the collar of his shirt or hood, or lifting him off Skulls to then drop him on the floor. Wolf is also good to clothesline MaM Money as well and it's all done with this deadpan expression that makes it funnier. Aw, I think MaM Money would chuckle at her saying she likes the way he smells and then tell her that here, that's a rare thing. It's very rare that a human can decipher their scents, but if it brings her some peace, he's glad she likes it. However, at hearing she wants it all over her, he'll gasp and start calling out how Skulls wants his stank, she's wants in his pants! She's after him, and will literally tell everyone with zero lead up, zero prompting and at random moments that she wants to bang him, just to watch her reaction. Like, it'll be silent at dinner and he'll just speak up like, "so, she wants to fuck me. thoughts?"
YES, they cook and bake together, and it's so damned cute! MaM Blue is SO happy to bake with HND Blue; the two of them like a well-oiled machine in the kitchen, despite having never baked together before. If anyone asks how they manage that, MaM Blue would cheekily say it's cause they have skills, duh. Oh, MaM Blue would also be getting just as excited, his volume going up, and the speech going super fast. It's probably difficult to keep up with their chatting. MaM Blue might tell HND Blue more about himself as they bake while asking questions about HND Blue. Like, mentioning that he's a police officer and was actually the first monster to make the Ebott police force and it's been really hard, but also rewarding at the same time. He'd likely ask what HND Blue does and what does he like to do in his down time. I can also see them comparing how Orange and Stretch might be similar. It's just a very cute image in my head.
I also think that HND Wine and Lissa's dynamic would likely be polite since she already knows how hard it was to crack MaM Wine's shell into opening up. She doubts she could do it a second time, honestly, she doesn't know how she did it the first time! However, I think this would also have her missing MaM Wine a lot. Her Wine always makes her feel safe, wanted and comfortable in her body. He makes her feel perfect as she is and always seems to know exactly what to say to get her feeling better. She might get curious wondering if HND Wine has the same hobbies as MaM Wine like guitar or sewing, but not wanting to be a bother by asking. She'd likely make a note to herself to tell MaM Wine when she gets home how much she appreciates him.
Yes, clubbing! I don't know if the prank would work either, but I can see her telling him she'll drink it but he then has to come dance with her because it's always been a mission of hers to get MaM Red to dance at some point and I'm thinking she might be a bit tipsy here saying that since he's apparently ignoring her right now for some unknown reason since she didn't do ANYTHING, he must dance with her instead! It is demanded! She'll try to be persuasive, but is terrible at it.
MaM Red would explain it to her like it's no big deal, he just has a very strong bite force like... he can bite through pretty much anything, no biggie. It's not like he's got super speed and stamina like MaM Blue does, or can air jump like MaM Black can. After a while of the compliments, MaM Red would just be staring at her before finally asking if she's trying to fuck him or something. He's just super surprised, not so much uncomfortable just unused to it. Also, wait until Skulls finds out MaM Red can sing. Like sing. He thinks he sucks at it, though.
Taffy would just gasp and tell her that he needs to dance on stage with her now! They must do it! He NEEDS it! Taffy's fomo has been activated and now his fear of missing out has led him to dragging Skulls somewhere they can dance that has a stage like area where others can watch this happen. He won't force her, but he'll definitely be giving the puppy dog eyes hoping that works.
Lissa would be grateful that none of them are angry, especially cause she can't help it! She'd tell HND Papyrus that she'd show him how to do it but even she doesn't know!
LOL yes, just a moment where they all stop and just sort of stare at each other before they walk to meet the other. More staring then Lissa offers Syrup's hand and Skulls offers MaM Coffee's. Lissa would happily hug MaM Coffee and let him cling to her arm while talking to Skulls about how awesome her guys were this last week. She felt very welcomed!
Oh man, Needle would be very unhelpful with those questions, pfft. She'd get a lot of "How indeed?" and "That is not something you need to know." Needle would bust out her greatest insecurity if she told him to and after hearing how she already knew that he'd tilt his head while looking down at her and say, "And yet, you still had me tell you, meaning there is doubt and insecurity pushing you to do so. You believed there was something else inside you that could be perceived as weak and that in itself is weak." And that would have MaM Sans asking MaM Papyrus to control Needle since he'll listen to MaM Papyrus when he tells him that wasn't nice and he can't just insult people for funsies.
The Papyrus's to the rescue! The heros we always knew we needed! I love it!
I also was thinking it was like a week or two as well, so she'd likely have a nightmare! The first time it happens, she's definitely a blubbering mess and apologizing a bunch for waking them. If she takes a long time to calm down, she might mention without thinking that she wishes MaM Red was there to sing to her. He calmed her down so fast doing that last time. She'd likely take Orange's offer to stay with her, she sleeps better when someone else is there afterwards. She doesn't mind if he shares the bed with her, mentioning she's shared with lots of the guys back home and has even had MaM Money shortcut himself naked on top of her before when she'd been sharing with Stretch for a nap. As long as they're clothed, she's pretty sure it'll be alright. She's extremely grateful to everyone being so nice and would tell them so.
Lissa would take up the offer of training! She'd explain she left off on trying to make a barrier, explaining that in her dimension that those with perseverance magic are very defense heavy, but barriers are tough to make so she'd greatly appreciate the training! I think she'd likely ask him a ton of questions on how magic works here and eventually ask if he can teach her to do the whole gravity thing all the skeletons back home seem to be able to do if they can also do it here. MaM Sans said that's training for later, but she wants to learn now!
Why does a little tea party sound so cute, though? They just one day find themselves both wanting tea and end up sitting at the table with a plate of cookies between them, each with a cup of tea and they just talk. She would tell him about MaM Black, he's a lawyer, he's actually defending her against her psycho mother who is trying to remove her from their custody then ask what he does, maybe ask what she should look out for when she's here. Is there anything she should stay away from? What's safe and what's not? Things like that since he's sat with her lol.
Mutt will have no idea what he's gotten himself into by taking Lissa to work with him. She's so freaking mouthy that she will 100% sass back at anyone who is rude to Mutt and is like "What? I don't work here, I can't be fired." She's not gonna do or say anything to get him fired, but it'll certainly be interesting and grumbling that she wishes she could take all these people and shake them violently. Depending on how worked up she gets, Mutt might be the one to get to see her magic start to lash out erratically. Not in an explosive manner, but an oppressive one where it tries to first smother everyone else's magic before turning into something explosive if she got even more worked up!
Whew, this felt like a workout but we got there! This is fun, I'm living for it and get so pumped every time I see a new reblog for it! We're gonna end up with one helluva long post! I love it.
