GUESS WHO REMADE LMAO
Mouths filled with huge, sharp, bestial teeth.
*puts bow on fetus’s head* :::)))

DARKNESS did not provide an ignorant comfort she could wrap herself in to blind herself to the horrors above, or what was right in front of her. A VAST and formless feeling overwhelmed her senses, adding a PRESSURE to her mind. She shook uncontrollably (though if this was the work of the HELL HOUSE or her own body’s coping mechanism, she didn’t know and would never think of it.), crying out in a childish, human tone to follow the Beldam’s anguished moans.
A coppery, tangy taste tainted her mouth, jolting her out of her fear for one single moment of self-assesment, her hand slowly and mindlessly raising to press at her nose. Warmish liquid met the back of it, but even the CRIMSON was diluted BLACK in the pitch of the hallway. Her canine’s whimpering stemmed from her grip, too tight, too much in fear of losing him – o’, she did not want to lose him – and decides to stick loosen up, allowing the dog to cower beside her.
The nosebleed was concerning but not pressing. It’s existence could stem from the fall, but her mind was preoccupied by incessant whisperings of words that she both understood and did not. They were too FORMLESS to make sense of, or it was her own pain-addled brain trying to block out things. A coping mechanism.
SHE STOPPED.
The creaking stopped her dead in her tracks, her breath held, her entire body still. Her instincts screamed for her to get up, GET UP! RUN! – but where to? In the pitch black she could only futily grope the ground to remain thankful that she was still where she was. It reminded her strongly of when her father left for nights, the creaking of the floorboards in the hallway, her still remaining awake and naughtily reading past her bedtime, praying he didn’t come in to tell her off.
Her chest ached in a longing for home entwined with the lack of air, forcing her to gulp greedily at the air. The RED filled the room, her vision. The CRIMSON HUE acted like a UV light, illuminating the TRUTH of the hallway. A foolhardy bravery spluttered into life within her, and she found the waning courage to glance up – regret immediately filling in bravado’s place.
For what seemed like an ETERNITY of stillness, of whispering silence, she shot up at the door’s slow movement, her boot-clad feet scrambling against the dead floor, the child selfishly basking in whatever UNHOLY light the area could provide – anything was better than the sickening VOID, only to cease when something soft and fuzzy confuses all senses.
It was not her faithful pup Cheese, for he was laying infront of her, shaking rapidly and a distinct smell wavering from him. Kurimu slowly – as if it was her last moment – looked towards the TEDDY BEAR.
The Teddy Bear.
The child care not for the HORRORS as she launched herself to the toy, grabbing it hastily and hugging it tightly, face burying deeply onto it’s head. A weak sense of comfort bloomed from the action as she rocked back and forth with teddy in tow, muttering softly to it, it’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay, i don’t want to die – Her canine found the strength to yap, voice lost in the endless sea of WHISPERS, and his owner preoccupied with the plush and her own heart-stopping fear.
Tears came down more steadily, spilling over cheeks and leaking onto the artifical fur of the toy. She continued to rock soundlessly until the crack of her voice broke free, sounding less like a plea and more of a confession.
“ PLEASE – don’t hurt me.. don’t hurt my puppy. I’m a GOOD GIRL, really. I’ve only stole from the cookie jar ONCE. I didn’t mean to disobey my mommy.”
IDLENESS was g r o w i n g in time with THE BELDAM'S IMPATIENCE.
SHE is COMMANDED by OTHERWORLDLY BEINGS;
❝. . . Our society is R O T T E N to the C O R E.
UNKNOWN ELDTRICH HORRORS;
❝. . . NOW'S the time for ACTION.
to progress further in her task, despite her h u m a n e reluctance.
❝ -- NOW'S THE TIME!!! DO IT!!!❞
(The first of the familicides -- up north. An unsettling feeling churned in Lisa's pregnant belly as she skimmed through the details; a father had MURDERED his entire family -- a poor mother and two children -- with a meat cleaver and a rifle before committing suicide. Their children were away at the time; Lisa's husband had completely ignored her reciting of the g r i s l y news in favor of the same broadcast that he had been watching for the past three days. Seldom he would mutter something under his breath -- something strange.)
The radio, rested atop the [ALTAR; SACRIFICIAL and DIVINE] bureau down the dimly-lit hall, began to SCREAM, DROWNING the ENTIRE CORRIDOR with its sudden, DEAFENING STATIC. One could hide; one could scream; one could do anything in their immediate mind to respond to the horrid noise -- but there was no escaping it. Even those who were numb to the blissful sounds of serenity that echoed throughout the house -- MOTHER'S CRIES; FATHER'S SCREAMING, HIS MANIACAL LAUGHTER -- could still feel the violent tingling of a million needles piercing through their skin -- the chilling pang through their vertebrae that sent their entire body into a short-lived spasm of fear. And for those gifted with the ability to hear, their ears BLED.
It coughed once, twice -- the static jumped. And then through the m i s t of fading consciousness, a voice spoke, distorted and low; it mimicked FATHER. ❝2 -- 0 -- 4 . . . 8 -- 6 -- 3. 2 -- 0 -- 4 . . . 8 -- 6 -- 3.❞ Its tainted numericals writhed with each vomitus spewed from its innards -- deep within its bowels -- before it was tangible -- able to move by its own free will -- and was QUICKLY scampering towards its VICTIM, running on four twisted limbs, all contorted in different directions, joints dislocating. And now it spoke directly into her ear, just as the BELDAM had WHINED; ❝SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE THE MURDERS -- 2 -- 0 -- NEIGHBORS SAY THEY HEARD THE FATHER -- 4 -- 8 -- REPEATING A SEQUENCE OF NUMBERS -- 6 -- 3 -- IN A LOUD VOICE. THEY SAID IT WAS LIKE HE WAS CHANTING SOME STRANGE SPELL.❞
SHE LAUGHED, breathy and taunting, but not in the girl's ear, rather all around her, draped across her shoulders in a thick blanket of FOREBODING WOES -- watching her like ONE MILLION EYES, TWITCHING and JITTERING, rolling around in their sockets through a circle that ever returneth in to the self-same spot followed by a crowd that seize it NOT. Her cranium convulsed; her feet stumbled across the floor, shortening the distance between PREDATOR and PREY with each tantalizing click of her heel. Visible -- present -- a manifestation she is now, her physical body, illuminated by a C R I M S O N hue, emerging into the open, moving closer and closer to the p o o r Kurimu, frozen in pure fear. As SHE neared the BASTARD'S (language!--her husband's) visage behind a wooden frame, she STOPPED. Lips curled, gruesome -- a sickly brownish-green, rotting and chipping -- teeth on display, her chest rose and fell with dramatic emphasis, her laughter subsiding into labored panting. SOMETHING HELD HER BACK -- HERSELF.
Angelic beings w e p t. O, this poor child -- she must be spared! They called upon Mother, a Goddess to all children; and she watched herself (the bag foretold) in morbid fascination -- with a fearful curiosity. How could she do this?--how could she be such a monster? . . . How could that be me? Lisa was mortified.
The static had long died out, now a low murmur of DEATH and DECAY. Cracking and popping, it was beginning to act up once more, though not nearly as l o u d as it once had been. Slowly, cautiously, a feminine tone rang out, its tongue in broken Swedish. ❝Hjälp . . . Näsa . . . Blod . . . Jag är ledsen . . .❞ And from the radio it emitted -- not in her ear nor lethargically fluttering about in the air like butterflies nearing their end. Lisa wanted -- needed -- to talk to the girl -- to at least free her from this particular HELL.
For MOTHER would soon grow A N G R Y once more -- THEY were telling her to MOVE -- SHE was telling KURIMU to RUN -- FLEE, FOR THE BELDAM APPROACHES -- CAN'T YOU HEAR HER SCREAMS?--HER APPROACHING WHINES? THE DOOR -- CAN'T YOU SEE IT?--HEAR IT SLAMMING SHUT ON ITS HINGES, BEGGING YOU TO DRAW NEAR?

SURVIVE
– that’s all she had to do to make it through. She had to SURVIVE.
O’ why had she not listened to her stern mother’s commanding words? Perhaps this was the price to pay for disobeying little girls. All the urban legends of evil spirits or boogeymen coming out to get her seemed to now ring true in her mind. Or maybe she was rotten to the core, and they knew. Good girls did not disobey their knowing mothers.
She would have accepted the slap on the wrist, the lack of dessert. This seemed far beyond what she could comprehend, and it scared her. A thought she did not think but would ring true for any other is that, her innocent mind failing to comprehend the VOID and HORRORS were a good thing. She would be touched by it’s taint but it would wash over like raindrops on a windowpane.
Kurimu felt as if her eyes had ran dry. Tracks of tears that spilled remained on rosy cheeks, a dull headache and infuriating tiredness weighted atop her head like a brick. Her small pup whimpered half the journey but too scared to bolt into the darkness alone and too afraid to remain, he lay in the girl’s arms, wide eyes bolting around fitfully.
When she first saw HER – if it was not for the quiet whine of her companion – she would’ve dropped to her knees and fainted at the sight. It was scary. All of the words she knew related to scary flooded into her mind. Most importantly, she wanted to go HOME.
Her mouth opened, voice too strained and shackled with fear to be of use. Her lips trembled, legs wobbled. A fresh spring of tears that welled on instinct affirmed that her prior belief was small-minded.
At first, an odd sense of serenity washes over her as the creature – nay, the WOMAN -- smiles. As if in a trance, she felt her lips slowly twist into the same gesture.
Then, everything went DARK.
A scream ripped from her throat (more from anticipation than anything have yet to happen) and she could feel the floor bruise her knees as she descends to the ground, accompanied by the whimpering of the dog. A stream of words managed to break forth, mostly babble, begging and noises of discomfort and upset. Whatever was to happen.. she did not know.
A C H I L D.
Bathed in p u r i t y; donning garb of i n n o c e n c e; a blessing from God above -- and she stood at the opposite end of the hall, shaking, crying, WHIMPERING -- SCREAMING.
Vision blurred -- f a d i n g away like her lost s o u l -- Lisa blinked away the immediate tears of shock and pain -- the overwhelming sadness and anger -- the ANGUISH -- that washed over her in an unsuspecting wave as her husband turned the corner, RIFLE in hand. She whimpered as the MISCARRIAGE begot her, blood quickly pouring down her legs as sharp contractions contorted her body with each physical and emotional pang, causing her to eventually curl into a fetal position and weep softly as her legs were now COATED in RED, DRENCHED in the remains of his BASTARD CHILD. Her entire body quivered and trembled; as the blood flow died down her adrenaline subsided in unison, causing her to SILENTLY YOWL as the SHEARING PAIN, the INTENSE BURN ran through her belly and to her brain, shooting heavy signals of S U F F E R I N G throughout her entire body. The BULLET was still lodged in her WOMB and with every contraction that followed, she'd be sent into an eternal inferno, the SEVERE PAINS BURNING so HOT that her blood ran cold.
Her blood loss was immense -- internally. Lisa sputtered, coughed, spewing gore and saliva across the tiled floor in labored spasms. Her pupils jittered back and forth, transfixed on nothing in particular until her consciousness had snapped back one last time before her d e a t h, focusing her in on her immediate surroundings and the monochrome tint that was beginning to glaze over her eyes, filtrating the world around her. She looked up, amid the CRIMSON REMAINS, to her son -- her first child; the baby that made her a m o t h e r -- and wailed in utter silence once more, crying to some UNKNOWN GOD for the loss of his i n n o c e n c e. He was looking directly at her with glossy eyes and blood trickling right between them -- he had died long before she had. She squeezed her eyes shut tight, accepting her horrid fate, tears brimming woefully.
Footfalls down the hall, one and then another. Lisa froze, her tears ceasing, staining her gray cheeks in crystal streaks that glimmered in the light as a last resort of b e a u t y. The ASSAILANT stopped -- HE was walking away from the kitchen -- and sniggered. Lisa recognized that voice and wanted to hurl but could not find the strength to even display her bewildered DISGUST.
❝OH, SWEETIE, THEY'RE JUST PLAYING -- I'M JUST PLAYING A GAME!! OH, PLEASE, COME OUT, HONEY. I JUST WANT TO PLAY.❞
The creaking of the bathroom door turned Lisa's heart to stone. GUNFIRE; and then the GHASTLY SCREAM OF HER LITTLE GIRL before her body fell without another groan.
Kurimu's s c r e a m had only brought back memories that the GODS did not want Lisa to remember, for she was a CREATURE (a mother!! the angels cried in desperation, a beautiful mother! their cries fell upon deaf ears) of MALICE and HATE, seeking R E V E N G E to those who did WRONG to such poor i n n o c e n t souls. She was no MOTHER -- she was a MONSTER, THE BELDAM, sent forth by the GODS to ensure that the sinners of our time would face their ATROCITIES in their own PERSONAL HELLS, where SHE was THE DEVIL, watching over ALL with a DARK EYE.
The GODS had sent her a c h i l d -- but at what cost? SHE could not r e a d this young soul -- her eyes had been watching, though they could see nothing. Down the previous hall, the BELDAM CRIED, her MOANS right beside Kurimu's ear.
The lights flicker all around Kurimu’s shaking body, her arms wrapped tightly around the canine. From white, to blue, to green they flash in a flurry, PANICKED and AFRAID, for what is the BELDAM TO DO? SUDDENLY, a pause. All is dark once more. Silence -- and then a c r e a k i n g overhead. The chandelier sways to the right and then back in the opposite direction by some unseen force, pulled by VAST, FORMLESS things. Its halo of R E D begins to illuminate the entire corridor, covering everything in its UNGODLY hue. TRUE pictures are revealed; gone are the façades of their children; themselves; the beauteous nature around them; and what takes their place is HER EYE -- HER EYES (forever is she w a t c h i n g). They roll in their sockets -- they twist and contort -- looking all about the young girl crumpled upon the floor. God -- does she contrast those SINNERS; and yet, here she lies, TRAPPED within a TRAUMATIZING HELL that she will NEVER FORGET. The BELDAM only knows ONE THING.
Down the hall, the door opens.
Beside the girl, a teddy bear falls and rests against her leg. Its RIGHT EYE is missing [GOUGE IT OUT!!] but otherwise is in p e r f e c t condition.
DOWN THE HALL she stands. With not the indecipherable moans of the creatures calling from the VOID beyond static barriers nor the cry of a child overhead -- a mother's greatest sadness!! -- she stands in complete silence, save for her heavy breathing; God, she's panting like a dog -- whimpering like a saddened BEAST. She's crying out for YOU -- she KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE.
Bile dribbles from her mouth; it coats her teeth in greenish-brown splotches that glimmer in a yellow hue as they catch the dim light, cascading down her chin and to her chest like a SICKENING WATERFALL; a NAUSEATING STENCH begins to linger. Her pelvic region is SPLATTERED IN CRIMSON;
-- P R E G N A N T AT THE TIME.
Long limbs hang freely, twisting and turning idly. Spindly digits -- DECAYING and ROTTEN -- convulse rapidly as too does her cranium. It jerks and wrenches all around -- so many eyes watching you; so many places she can see you from -- before its immediate pause. Slowly, with DELIBERATE SEDATION, her neck cracks and pops into place so that her left eye -- UP, UP, ALWAYS LOOKING UP TO THE Heavens -- is staring directly at you. She smiles. A cockroach crawls out from her right eye socket and ascends her visage before nestling into her hair.
One step forward -- and the lights go out.
jackknifejonesworld
Still scares me
How long has it been? Seconds -- minutes -- hours -- days?
Mother looks up to the wall and WHINES. 26 . . . 0 8 4 . . . 2 3 8 . . . tally marks -- tally marks adorn the walls, but she cannot count them. There's far too many; two over there; six grouped together in the incorrect fashion of counting; three are so close to one another that they appear as one; four are DRENCHED IN BLOOD, CRYING OUT FOR MERCY AS THE CRIMSON FLUID SEEPS FROM THEIR ORIFICES IN A MOST GROTESQUE MANNER. OH, HOW THEY WRITHE IN PAIN, SCREECHING AND HISSING; MORTAL PANGS CAUSE MUSCLES TO TENSE AND CONTORT, BENDING INTO NEW HELLISH SHAPES BEFORE THEY UTTER ONE FINAL CRY AND THEN COLLAPSE IN THE DUST AT THE HEIGHT OF THEIR CLIMAX.
But you spared one -- only one. The beldam sees them as piteous, your actions -- but oh, how she would yearn for a more beautiful fate than her own -- for a happy ending -- for HIM to at least spare one of their children, just as you had. Hence, the beldam has spared you -- at the cost of a snapped neck, nonetheless. You lie motionless, but not in death, only in unconsciousness, your cranium resting in the bloodied folds of her nightgown. . . . Do you remember her?--probably not. Your EXECUTION by the hands of the BELDAM, prompted furthermore by ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴅ ᴘʏʀᴀᴍɪᴅ, was quick and effective -- with only one blow did you fall victim to her unsuspecting attack, her heightened intelligence of animalistic behavior that told her to pause for a moment's notice before striking, for a HUMAN would be awaiting her ambush had she preformed a perfectly timed cue.
But you aren't human, either -- at least, not entirely. You share so much in common with [YOUR] Mother; but here you lie in blissful ignorance to your surroundings, unaware to the unknown. Mother reaches out to lovingly pet your shoulder with spindly, trembling digits as the EXECUTIONER trails along behind you, scraping its metallic blade along the concrete walls of PURGATORY. You stir, you mumble something in your sleep; and the G O D S flee, leaving your body on the cold floor in confusion, rebirthing you into your next set of chthonic obstacles. Perhaps your past has already traipsed through the corridor, your future knows what grisly horrors await you; Mother does not determine this -- you do.
ARE YOU SURE THE ONLY YOU IS YOU?
Of course I am, you tell yourself, certain and sure. But you soon have realizations of shock: where am I? how did I get here? how am I going to leave? PURGATORY is a very literal place -- but perhaps not in the sense that I once implied. You look around yourself, taking in your surroundings with heightened caution and steady footfalls. Nothing of immediate interest -- some cockroaches scuttle across the floor; THERE'S BLOODSTAINS ON THE WALL BEHIND YOU -- DID YOU NOTICE?; and an ordinary wooden door stands before you. It doesn't seem very enticing in the least, but it's your only means of escape, you muse. Go forth, child; venture into the light.
You open the door. Your right foot falls upon the floor as your weight shifts from one leg to another. Your left moves -- and you've already managed to break something in your ignorance. A pair of bifocals; the right lens is horribly shattered, littering the floor with tiny shards of glass. You're just another -- you wanted HER gone too, DIDN'T YOU? YOU WANTED MOTHER GONE?
KILL THE P I G, CUT HER T H R O A T, SPILL HER B L O O D
SILENCE, YOU ANIMALS!!! THE PICTURES DIFFER!!!
The hallway leads on, pivoting abruptly on its heel at the window that lie ahead. You hear something -- something foul. A SCREECHING STATIC scrambles all about around the bend, emitting from the radio right beside the torn photo of a young woman with a distinguishable ponytail. The adjacent wall begins to morph slightly before a cluster of roaches begin scampering around the corner, scurrying in different directions yet in herded troops. Rotten digits slowly hug the wall, curling around the crook with emphasized sedation; the fingernails are chipped and dirty, the ring finger bleeds with its lack of a nail in contradiction; they scrape along the wall to attract attention, but the BELDAM refuses to present her visage.
They scrape like a familiar blade.
