Honestly I don’t know that Yuri will win, but I’m certain they won’t break up. Currently he’s doing the thing where he’s spiraling into insecurity and it’s clearly affecting his performance. Right now the insecurity is about him hindering or disappointing Victor. I’m almost 100% sure that the “let’s end this” talk will end with Victor and Yuri on the same page. Which is good, because although we’ve gotten to see Victor privately talk about how much he loves being Yuri’s coach he’s never told Yuri that.

So I assume it’ll end with them talking it over and Yuri even more confident and sure in himself and his relationship with Victor than before. And because we know his performances are heavily based on his emotional state and his confidence this boost that he gets from Victor’s reassurance will be enough to push him to perform to the absolute best of his ability. He’ll land the jump he’s been practicing and his performance will be outstanding. I just don’t know that it’ll be enough to get him gold when Yurio has broken the record (which is bullshit by the way - that score is LITERALLY impossible) and he’s consistently done not so well. Idk, if he doesn’t win I have a theory that Victor will tell him that he has to continue skating so he can win gold and they can get married lmao. And then that leaves a season 2 open? Idk.

Sorry it got so long lmao. Don’t ask me to talk about Yuri!! on ice without expecting this shit haha.

yuri!! on ice episode 11 spoilers lmao

Just ramblings because I wanted to write out my thoughts

I just wanted to write this prediction somewhere, but I don’t think that the “let’s end this” confession is all that big of a deal. The entire episode 11 was spent with Yuri watching Victor react to other skaters. So we can pretty much just assume that when he says “end things” he’s referring to coaching and probably not their personal relationship.

We also know Yuri to be lacking confidence a lot of the times. He’s spent the entire series with worries of dragging victor down or not being good enough in the back of his mind. No doubt that’s all amplified by his underwhelming performance this time. They did a good job emphasizing how heartbreaking that must have been for Yuri. So I think it’s a really REALLY important character arc and obstacle in their relationship that they need to work through to move forward. To be honest I’d be surprised if they didn’t address Yuri’s insecurities and I think it’s going to be incredibly interesting to see how it plays out. 

I’m hoping (and this is just a guess) that this will end with Victor finally getting emotional. Throughout he’s been very loving and good to Yuri, but he’s never had that moment where he clearly tells Yuri that he needs him or wants to be with him. Yuri’s had that moment, he’s had actually more than one moment of expressing very emotionally how much he appreciates and admires Victor. So I think situation would be a brilliant way for Victor to get that emotional moment where he tells Yuri just how much he wants to be with him and also address Yuri’s own insecurities and worries.
