Etched and pierced large brass earrings. These represent the constant change and the cycle of disintegration and regenration that is at the heart of all creation. I've observed similar textures on parched earth, a disintegrating leaf, bark on a big exemplary tree. I made a sample from rice flour and water, took a photo of it and then converted it into a black and white image. I transferred this to the brass sheet and etched it.
