Our lives are not our own.
would it all make sense? ‘cause I, I’ve been feeling pretty small…
Life needs to be enjoyed more. Peace needs to be appreciated more. I find it hard when day in day out we struggle with troubles that we've created for ourselves, when people choose to make their worlds a little bit colder, when they can be kind and choose not to be. When we could take things at our own pace but we rush ourselves through everything like that way we can experience more but we end up not truly experiencing anything at all.
hedonism is good actually rich people just suck at it
i think not only do we have a moral obligation to preserve human life but also a moral obligation to maximize the pleasure of others and ourselves (provided it doesn’t hurt anyone)
people don’t just deserve to eat food, they deserve to eat good food that tastes good without worrying about nutritional content
people don’t just deserve clothes, they deserve nice clothes that are well made and fit their personal style
people don’t just deserve the bare minimum, they don’t just deserve to be alive, they deserve to live and have nice things for no other reason than making that particular person happy
With shortness of breath, I'll explain the infinite.
How rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist.
You think if you stay still long enough
If you listen
If your lingering eyes catch everything
You'll see something everybody has missed
That the secrets of the world would unfold for you
That it will cease to evade you around every corner
In ever fold of the universe
It gets too loud
The shimmering lights catch your eye
You're distracted
The truth evades you
You look for the quiet corner by the highway
The gushing stream of life
You hear the pitter patter of the rain
A small flower struggles in the tunnel where you hide from the day's responsibilities
"Hello little one, do you have what I'm looking for?"
i made a quiz. it’s a good quiz. i spent 5 hours on this quiz. please take this quiz.
what your taste in men says about you
Hey op turn your location on I just wanna talk
.... Do I even know myself
"Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red."
Earth one day decides it's had enough of humans.
Gravity stops.
They all fall off.
Clean slate.
I wanna be in my feels.
I wanna struggle and not feel like the entire world, my parents, society and some dead man's tradition are standing between me and my heart.
I want to feel like my existence is big and it matters without feeling guilty, without feeling like I'm "selfish", without someone's existence making me feel pathetic.
I just want to be me. I want to feel.
i think the funniest and realist thing i’ve realized lately is how troubling idealization can be. every person is just… a person. the very people you want to impress or be apart of are just people. even if they seem wildly intimidating because of the way they look or because of their reputation, every one is just a person. human. as embarrassing, as remorseful and they are going through stages of growth just like you are. we only see what we want to see and then drown ourselves further in our own depression and we don’t have to.
truly and i am learning the less i idealise others, the more willing i am to meet people where they are warts n all. and the more willing i am to show myself too and bring my whole self into things. my own embarrassment becomes a new normal and fine thing. stumbling becomes more endearing.

"By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that."
