In which you don’t think any color hair dye would look good on you, but your bf Matt thinks otherwise.

You sat cross-legged on your bed, scrolling through picture after picture of people with freshly dyed hair.
Soft copper, deep burgundy, honey blonde, jet black. Every color seemed to look perfect on everyone else. you sighed and tucked a strand of your own hair behind your ear.
For weeks, you’d been thinking about changing your hair color, but every time you got close to making an appointment, doubt crept in.
“What if it looked terrible on me?” you have been thinking of this same thought for what felt like hours.
You have been comparing herself to the people online, the more nervous you became.
A knock sounded at your bedroom door before Matt stepped inside.
"You've been staring at your phone for like an hour," he said with a small laugh
You crawled to the edge of the bed before turning your screen toward him, showing him a collection of hair inspiration photos that you’ve been looking at on Pinterest.
"I really want to dye my hair," you admitted, chewing on your lip.
"But what if it doesn't look good on me? Everyone else can pull these colors off, but I feel like it'll somehow look terrible on me."
Matt glanced at the pictures, then back at her, already able to tell this was something you’ve been overthinking about for a while.
“How about we go to the store, you pick out a color of hair dye that’s temporary, and if u think it looks bad, you can just wash it off” Matt had said with a slight smile on his face hoping for a yes.
You speed-walked to the hair dye section and looked for a color that u thought would best suit you.
It was quite difficult because you had black hair and everyone else that u had saw had blonde hair.
You had picked out a purple one.
“Oh my gosh this is so pretty” you said thinking u were talking to Matt.
He wasn’t even in that section.
You looked in the candy isle to see him looking at your fav candy.
You smiled and walked to him and asked if he thought the purple would look good on you.
“Baby, every color looks good on you.” he said with a smile on his face while handing you your fav candy.
You went to the check out and Matt payed for everything.
You immediately went to the bathroom to put on the hair dye.
Matt followed behind you.
After a while of reading the instructions and prepping, you went straight to dying your hair.
Of course Matt helped you with dyeing your hair.
(You were too distracted to see that Matt wasn’t wearing any gloves)
After dying your hair, u waited a bit, and finally rinsed out the purple dye that was in your hair.
You finally rinsed your hair, you looked behind you to see that Matt wasn’t wearing any gloves.
“WHAT!” He said in a sassy tone
“You’re not wearing any gloves!”
He looked at his hands and shrugged. He really didn’t care as long as his girl was happy.
“Well aren’t u upset about it because it will stain your hands?”
You chuckled at his foolishness.
You finally finished with your hair.
You waited for your hair to dry, then you finally looked in the mirror.
Matt also loved how good it looked on you.
You smiled in the mirror and hugged Matt and he was glad that it made u happy.
authors note: I really don’t like this and I thought it would be better than how I imagined it in my head 😔
