THIS IS CANADIAN FLETCHER ANON (from like a month ago) WITH AN UPDATE

walked into jazz band today to find that all the stands and seats were facing the drums, which were at the front of the room…

teacher tells us to pull out a couple songs, they’re really simple on my instrument but the drumming is apparently difficult because bro spent the ENTIRE LESSON grilling the drummer😭😭

he was nice about it at first but still kept stopping and starting cause we were going too fast or too slow (i know this is identical to the plot i promise you i’m not making this up)

then i guess he got fed up cause he brought out the metronome and I SHIT YOU NOT STARTED CLAPPING IN FRONT OF THE DRUMMER, NO CHAIRS WERE THROWN BUT I BET HE WAS GETTING CLOSE TO IT

then the teacher asked if he could play as an example (?) and once he played at the right speed i heard him mutter something about rock bands (the drummer prefers playing in rock bands ig?)

so yeah band was a little scary and a lot hilarious i could not make this up, band director is still a super chill guy just don’t drum in rock bands kids 😭😭
