casually pads into their room wearing just charlie's unbuttoned shirt.
Charlie sat silently on bed looking through her pages of lessons for tomorrow. glancing away just slightly before red iris glances back down to her pages. double backing looking back at girlfriend, cheek flushed red with a rush of head rush down back. " vaggie ! ! ! " her tails suddenly appeared, it wags in utter excitement " you so fucking pretty ! " she couldn't help herself but stare other than just her pretty they loom over ever inch of her . . . looking very pretty with just her shirt
it's not like vaggie hadn't been in so little before but there was something about the way charlie looked at her --- like she was something precious , like she was something worthy that held her heart in a vice grip. a soft grin pulls at her lips as she moves to join her girlfriend , grey fingertips gently grab the lesson plans to look them over haphazardly before gently setting them on one of the side tables. replacing them with well , herself. arms lace around charlie's shoulders , " i uh , forgot to bring in a towel. figured this would work just as well. "

charlie was just so happy no matter what has happened. goat ears flopped in such delight she is hopelessly in love with her ( even with the small mistrust. her trust for vaggie grew and thats all the matters ) her heart fluttered as her ears wiggled, vaggie is just a breath of fresh air. eyes lit up taking hold on her hand interlocking with her own eyes gleaming towards the idea " YES we can make our own snacks ! ! ! VAGGIETHISISTHEBESTIDEAEVER !" there was excitement, speaking after then before " lets get to making snack! shall we or ? "
" i thought you might like it. " a good way for them to spend some much needed time together & get away from the hotel for awhile. charlie's excitement is infectious , her own smile only growing as she watches the gears begin to turn in her girlfriend's head. vaggie nods encouragingly , happy to follow after her & make their way to the kitchen. she's quick to pull an assortment of items out before dropping them onto the counter. " what are you feeling ? apri-caught or ... " vaggie turns a jar over in her hand to read the label properly. " strawberry scream jam ? "
more laughter become of the little lamb. feeling as if the world couldn't feel so more freeing as if nothing else mattered " i'd love too ! its been so long since we had a date ! OOOO how exciting ! " fingers cuffed cheek gentle, oh she was beautiful her little angle " were do we wanna go for dinner i can get the BEST restaurant to reserve a spot for you & me ."
vaggie can't wipe the smile off her face , life had been hectic to say the least after the battle. ( * & while she was far from forgiving herself , even if charlie had. they deserved a night , they had survived , damn it ! ) she leans into the warm touch , pressing her face into palm & leaving a soft kiss there. " we really don't have to go anywhere fancy. " reassured as she reaches up to entangle their fingers together. " what about a picnic ? "

there was a small giggle coming from the hellborn " VAGGGIE !!! my love" her smile grew big wrapping arms around her girlfriends neck, holding onto her tightly so she may not fall.
laughter , soft & warm flows so freely / unbidden from the fallen angel. charlie simply seems to have that effect on her. " hey babe. " wings flare out to balance them , " i thought we could go grab some dinner tonight ? just the two of us ? " & not the entire hotel staff preferably.

the feline chuckled softly watching as the fallen angle herself fall apart with just a few words. he would assume this wouldn't affect the little lady that much but to his surprise it did. " it was suppose to be a compliment , vaggie you just lied to me right now you like to keep little secret of were you were from for what two years ? WELL ... she hadn't expected that. so used to bearing her teeth & waiting for the other shoe to drop. it had taken months for her to realize charlie's intentions were as pure as the rest of her. vaggie had simply assumed that was it , it would always be them against the world. she hadn't stopped for a moment to think about having friends again , a family of sorts ( * NOT AFTER THE LAST SEMBLANCE OF ONE SHE HAD. )
regret simmers in her stomach , features soften , a sputter of a laugh as if in disbelief. " right ... sorry. i just didn't expect you all to just be so ... fine with it. " like she was waiting for a punishment that would not come. " what i mean is , i'll understand if you don't trust me anymore. if it takes time , or whatever. "

she huffs out a breath , hands curling around the railing as her gaze looks anywhere else --- out towards the skyline of pentagram city. " i'm kind of glad i didn't have anything special like that. " there was already so much weight / crushing disappointment settled on her shoulders & threatening to cave in spine. HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY FEEL ? had it lessened ? or was the wound still as raw as her own ?
WATCHING HER DISDAIN, he isn't surprise that she isn't particularly fond of his tactics. they have never seen eye to eye with their plans for the hotel. his own means of dealing with things tend to be HOSTILE. though, it sends a message; one that will allow them to be free from heinous activity making its way to their dearest hotel. ā my, well, if they didn't want that, they they should have been more amicable with their greeting. i don't care for destroying my hard work, now. ā
ā TO THINK, our potential guests would be so faint of heart. i don't know if they would last a day here, not with your rule. perhaps, i was just getting them ready for what was to come. ā

" it's useless to argue , the words dying on her tongue with a groan of annoyance. she had a headache , a tall , lanky , radio demon sized headache. looking at him made her want to crush something --- hands curl into fists & an exasperated sigh leaves the fallen angel. oh ! but he knows just how to poke & prod , getting beneath her skin & irking her in such a way. how did charlie do it ? deal with this guy ? as if she can hear charlie's chiding tone in her head , vaggie hefts another noise of displeasure , tone leveling out. " just ... try to be less ... creepy or whatever. "
' i see . . . ' violet eyes glanced at the ceiling , then back at the fallen angel. lilith knew what exactly vaggie was. she out of anyone would know considering that she was married to one herself.
' you see , vaggie , you remind me of myself. doing anything we can to protect who we cherish , any and everything. however , it may not be enough if you aren't willing to hurt other people to protect her . . . even if that means hurting my daughter in the process . . . or yourself. could you truly commit to that ? '
from the sound of it , lilith was talking about her own past experiences. she's done the good , bad , and ugly to protect both charlie and lucifer. she expects vaggie to do the same for her daughter.
it was unnerving to be seen , stripped to the bone. there wasn't a doubt in vaggie's mind lilith could piece together what she is. was she hiding it ? or perhaps it's simply tip toeing around the truth. either way it's of no use , nails dig crescent shapes into her palms , lips pressed into a line.
" of course i can. " it's out of her mouth before she's even entirely caught up to the sentiment , but it remains all the same. " you know ... " she trails off , gaze cast to the side as the truth hangs heavy in the air between them. a breath released , vaggie hadn't even known she was holding it in. " it's nothing i haven't done before. "

some vaggie headcanons for my portrayal but i just woke up so they're kind of everywhere : ( aka , i'll put a lot of this info on her about page eventually soon )
she's heavenborn ( going off the notion that adam named her ) whose purpose was to be a protector / exorcist.
heavily influenced by mid & simone w / plotting but vaggie did actually care quite a lot about adam & lute ( + other exorcist sisters ) when she was in heaven. it's why the betrayal stung so bad & she so desperately wants to be useful. that's all she knew for so long , there wasn't anything else. very like finn ( from star wars , stop booing me i'm right ) as a stormtrooper vibes.
each extermination is what actually showed her that maybe there's more , maybe it's not right. she saw these glimpses of sinners yes , but they're still human souls. they're capable of more.
but a lot of it was rewriting herself in someway , she didn't realize the full extent of what she'd gone through in heaven until she was out of it. regularly sees all this stuff in hell & memories of heaven , shouldn't they be polar opposites ? but they aren't , not entirely.
also bc mid & i were cooking but fallen angels can't get redeemed i'd assume --- but i like to think instead of vaggie randomly getting her wings back that was the equivalent of her ascension.
my vaggie is very much a lesbian bc i realized i haven't specified that yet.

this was an ask but it got too long so here's this thing. hi. || @rejec
It is such a funnily familiar thing, watching her daughter flutter to and fro with an attentive & steadfast angel at her side. Warmth would bloom and blossom a smile across her features, seeing the light in both of their eyes meet in shared gazes as they'd wind their hands together tightly in a way that only a solid bond was familiar with; that tight squeeze that shared history and fondness. It was very nostalgic, as if she were looking in a mirror.
However, personal introductions have yet to be made outside of Charlie's excited and quick makings of welcomes and name sharing ā everything has been simply buzzing with the combination of both the Hotel and the Queen's return. Time has simply fluttered by much too quickly, much too much excitement for the finer details to be ironed out. Now though, there was enough space eked out for Lilith to take a chance and actually meet the woman. It was very important that she do so, the connection she witnessed made that quite evident.
So, quiet an apparition, the First Woman appeared from just behind the Manager, catching her in a seemingly rare moment of being on her own.

vaggie hadnāt seen charlie like this before , she was always joyful , an abundance of warmth & happiness ā but that was nothing in comparison to how sheād shined with her motherās return. vaggie couldnāt help but smile too , as if charlieās own was contagious ! ( perhaps it was , she seemed to be an embodiment of light in the dreariness of hell , drawing vaggie in like a moth to a flame. )
she hadnāt been properly introduced , not with her girlfriendās mind going a million miles a minute , but vaggie didnāt mind. she never had proper parents of her own , but she could so clearly read charlieās excitement. the fallen angel didnāt care about fading into the background to let her shine.
vaggieās in the middle of sorting out keys , new locks for the many new rooms ( & to ensure angel dust couldnāt get into some of them to hide new drug stashes. ) when the first woman appears behind her , vaggie jumps ! ā holy shā balls !! fuck. ā a yelp , turning quickly on heel as embarrassment flushes lavender - grey skin. her hand immediately had searched for a weapon on instinct & sheād never been more glad she didnāt have it on her.
head cranes to look up at lilith , amazement tangling in the widening of her eye. ā mrs. morningstar ! yeah , haha , i guess we havenāt. ā but vaggie certainly knew of her , saw the many traits she shared with her daughter / SO ACHINGLY FAMILIAR ! hairās tucked behind ear , hands falling to tangle together nervously. ā iām vaggie , charlieās girlfriend ā & the hotel manager. ā oh no , sheās rambling.

" comes the fallen angel's frustrated response , head falls into hands like she can hide her shame. vaggie's a horrible liar ( UNLESS IT CAME TO KEEPING HER ANGELIC HERITAGE IN CHECK , IT'D SEEM ! ) a hefty breath's let out in an attempt to calm down , " ha ha , very funny husk. " deadpanned , one hand falling back to the bar as the other massages the bridge of her nose. is that a growing headache ? yup !! in the shape of looming disappointment. " we both know i'm fucking horrible at it but what else am i supposed to do ? "
