The Execution by Thomas Theodor Heine (1892)
Just read the most disturbing book on fin de siecle art, now I gotta write a paper. Should be perfectly reasonable for me to fill the entire paper with whyyyyyyyyyyy
Don’t care what other people say, Tango in the Night is amazing

There are 10,000 tracks in my Itunes so this is not quite representative of my bonkers music taste (an accumulation of everything questionable since high school).
I tag my CA homies: @escranesque, @vague-ish, @chrryblssmninja and hell, whoever who wants to do it!
King Crimson, The Court of the Crimson King
Death From Above 1979, Do It! (Live)

Rage Peace (Prince Rama), So Destroyed
Danny Brown, Monopoly
Madonna, Into the Groove
This is surprisingly representative of my taste in music, though don’t even try to make heads or tails of my list, because it actually doesn’t make any sense. It’s such a mish-mash of things from high school, college radio, plus stuff I danced around to as a toddler!
I don’t really listen to jazz, but every time I do, I suddenly remember that I went to Tito Puente and Mike Stern shows as a 12-year-old. #notacoolkid #butmaybealittlepretentious
Apartment-hunting blues
Found a nice place on Craigslist. Thought I could take my time checking out the hood, but it’s already long gone.
I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues… I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues…
When you’re tight on cash, need a place to crash, I’ve got the blues...
Thought next time I’d be quicker, give ‘em a call real fast. Get to the open house early, but deposit’s already been paid.
I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues… I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues…
When you wanna stay cool, believe you’ll make do, I’ve got the blues...
Now I’m sniping ads online, trying to swoop in right away. Thought I was first in line to view, but bitches paid a year upfront.
I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues… I’ve got the blues… The apartment-hunting blues…
When you feel out of luck, but still give a fuck, Yeah, I’ve got the blues...

Henri Rousseau. The Snake Charmer. 1907.
It’s been about a year-and-a-half since I was feeling general social media fatigue and went cold turkey on tumblr.
Well, the tumblr-verse beckoned, and I answered with a blog dedicated to cataloging my obsession with weird/obscure finds from garage sales and used book stores.
Plus, these photos have no place on instagram, which is strictly for cultivating my cat lady persona.
