Umar Ibn Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said:
“Sit with those who frequently repent, for indeed, they have the softest of hearts.”
(Hilyat Al-Awliyah, 1/51)
Allah puts so much barakah in your time when you’re punctual in offering your prayers. When you respect the Creator of time, He makes time work in your favor. May Allah put barakah in every minute of our days.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“A believer is not stung from the same hole twice.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 6133
Learn, grow, and never fall for the same mistake twice.
Winter is a season of mercy from Allah
The nights are long for tahajjud and the days are short for fasting.
Sufyan Ath-Thawri (رحمه الله) said:
"Three matters are from patience:
Don't speak about your pain.
Don't speak about your calamity.
Don't praise yourself."
[Tafsir Ibn Kathir 1/620]
My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need"
Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله said:
“If the slave of Allah sinned and then he repented, he only gets closer to Allah.”
Tahajjud....
In the quiet of the night, your prayers reach the highest heavens.
Tahajjud is the only solution to your problems. If you get up at night and explain to Allah how your heart is broken, how devastated you are, and how people have hurt you, Allah will be sufficient for you. The dua you made at tahajjud is always accepted, it's just a matter of your iman and sabr.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“How many great blessings from Allaah are the direct consequences of tests and trials?”
Ibn Mas’ūd رضي الله عنه said:
“Verily, Allah gives wealth to whom He loves and whom He does not loves, but He does not give Īmān except to whom He loves!”
[Az-Zuhd Li Ibn Abī Dunyā: 149]
"O Allah, grant my soul a sense of righteousness and purify it, for You are the best to purify it."
No matter how low you fall, don't forget your five daily prayers.
I find solace and sufficiency in You, ya Allāh, for You are the ultimate source of my reliance. ♡
