The origins of Albanians has been an ongoing conversation and for some people, a debate. One of the biggest myths that Serbians spread is that Albanians descended from the Azerbaijani. My intent here is to provide clarity regarding the two “Albanias” and to debunk this myth once and for all.

The United States and Serbia are entering into a strategic dialogue. Today, July 17th, they are having their inaugural session. In 2025, The United States had plans to engage in strategic dialogue with Kosovo. However, they suspended those strategic talks in September. Before we move on, let’s define what “strategic talks” are. “Strategic talks, often called strategic dialogues or strategic partnerships, are high-level diplomatic discussions between governments focused on long-term national interests, security, and cooperation. Rather than handling day-to-day consular issues, these talks establish frameworks to guide bilateral or multilateral relations across defense, economics, and technology.” In essence, it is two countries formally building a long-term relationship with each other.

Is anyone else totally over AI like I am?At first it was great. You had the world at your fingertips in a conversational chatbot, even though it hallucinated once in a while. I used it for everything like starting my business, learning to fix my website, etc. I had AI agents for content (AI slop). It helped me with podcast episodes. Then we learned more about AI. Like how AI is stealing and plagiarizing material that creators spent decades putting on the internet so we can learn new things and puts it behind a paywall. As if now there is a cover charge to the free information on the internet. This is why I won’t pay for AI. We also learned that social, economic and environmental impact that AI is having.

My name is Valdet Selimaj and I am the author of this blog.

You should know this is not my first rodeo with a blog. I have had one blog or another since the days of MySpace. If you remember MySpace and you are reading this, you likely need some Bengay on those joints and a good nap.

I know I do!

My blog was a place where I could just let out my thoughts and, since I was much younger, go off about people. It was how expressed my emotions and thoughts of my life then.

I also discovered my love for writing.

Over time, as I got older and matured, I learned how to manage my emotions and be in control of my thoughts. My love for writing never went away and it only grow stronger as I experienced of the world. I learned, relearned and unlearned so much that my perspectives and beliefs were in such a constant state of flux. It was only through writing that I was able to make sense of the nonsensical, or at least try to make sense of it!
